  4. Jodi, I love your vlogs….even when you're just throwing a ball to Bentley! I'm so happy your new couch wasn't already up and out, or it would smell like smoke. You are in my daily prayers always.

  5. Please don't feel bad about the fireplace. Easy mistake. When I was little, my Mom left the flu open. A squirrel fell down the chimney. He was fine but he ran around the living room while we all screamed. We finally opened the front door and he ran out leaving little black footprints all around the room. My parents had no idea the old owners had not put a metal screen over the chimney. We re-tell the story over and over. Over the years the little squirrel grew to the size of a mountain lion….lol. I'm so glad your breathing is better. By the way, I love your cute glasses.

  6. I have been watching you a few months, really enjoy it, I have wondered why did you guys buy a different home and such a large one with you sick, it makes more work for you and so many bedrooms just wondered why?

  7. Hey Jodi🌹🙋‍♀️
Those towels look creamy to me hun👍. The living room set is beautiful. I love it. Wow girl that was a lot of smoke to get rid of. I did the same thing with the fireplace flue many years ago. My eyes and throat burned for a week after that lol. I'm glad you are ok Jodi🌺. Your new home is coming together very nicely. Happy New Year 2022 Jodi & Ray💖🌴💙. Wishing you both a wonderful year from me freezing in Alberta 🇨🇦. Stay healthy & safe out there every one🙏💖.

  11. Oh my goodness!! This vlog was packed with all sorts of adventures (some good, some not-so-good!). Loved hearing the baby news. How exciting to have two new babies coming soon! I love the fact you bought new towels. I’ve been looking at our towels over the past few months and thinking that they probably do need replacement, but not wanting to spend the money on them when the ones I have are still usable. But having nice new absorbent, not-faded, not-threadbare towels feels so luxurious, so I’m keeping my eyes open for new towels for sure. Your new towels are beautiful! And the fireplace story, well… When I was a child we heated with a woodstove for five years, and every time we open the door to put more wood in, the trailer would fill with smoke. Not fun times, LOL! Glad you were able to finally get things aired out, and that things weren’t worse than they turned out to be.

  12. Yes, it's a great mess. Heads Up! Open your windows to help get the rest out. Then for the next couple of weeks you will have to take a vacuum with a brush and vacuum up all the soot (keep cleaning off the brush) and keep doing it off and on as it will continue to land on everything for a while. Toss the vacuum bag out after a few cleanings, because the fine stuff fills it up. Put the vacuum bag in a small bag and tie it up tightly before you throw it out. Don't polish anything or wash down cabinets or anything else until it stops settling. It's the biggest mess I ever had! PS: It lands on everything in the house. 🙁
    Happy New Year Jodie
