  7. I hate to disagree with a Pro, but I always been a big advocate of Full range, however, I recently learned that if you tweak the range you can target or isolate a particular muscle better. For example Flat Dumbbell Bench: If you watch the range of your Chest as you lower the weight, the tension shifts to your shoulders if you go too low; hence, I lower until my chest is starting to lose tension, slightly above the chest. This also is important for Shoulder health – less overuse.
