Most people consider hunting a hobby. If it was so hard to shoot tame deer, why did he do it? I’m pretty sure Suzanne’s nonstop chores and nurturing of her children were most likely more time consuming, and stressful at times.

There's so much to unpack here, but I think the sentence that sums Barry up perfectly is when he says "see that's the problem with women…". Not only does he say this TO A WOMAN, but he doesn't even realize HE'S THE ONLY ONE saying there's a "problem" with all women across the board. As he did with the detectives, he makes these extreme statements, yet he's blissfully unaware how that statement makes him sound. His confidence and ego is not only unwarranted, but it insulates him from being able to read his audience, and I think it will absolutely be his downfall.
One has to wonder if Barry did not even take the time to remove the soil/root protector burlap on the trees. 🌳 The roots would strangle and the tree, perish. I am also disgusted again about the deer, and the treatment and subsequent slaughtering by useless men. It’s one thing to hunt and deer hunting usually gives the edge to the deer, but these actions taken for a mounted Buck head, are beyond disturbing to me.

Barry seemed unaware that the massuese had cottoned on re his connection to Suzanne.

If Suzanne had gone off-road and been injured, someone looking for her could find her before a predator did that night. Why wouldn’t Barry the hero in his big truck want to look for and find her if her whereabouts were in doubt?
I think the massage lady is smart. Why would she comment on him liking her t-shirt? If she said he stared at something other than the logo her statement would not be allowed into evidence.
So did Barry convince his daughters that their mom was still alive?
