Can you spray citric acid on the flesh side of the hide to keep the bacteria growth at bay? I am assuming bacteria is what causes the hair to slip on hides? Some hunters(ie AK float trip hunts) carry powder citric acid in case weather is hot & flies are bad….use as precaution to by time and preserve meat.

Suggestion: upload your films exclusively to this channel. I get you want to put out content and educate, but it’s not helping you grow. As someone that consumes your videos. I just don’t have time to watch all the podcasts and all that, and when I look at your channel it is very jumbled and I am not sure what to watch. You shouldn’t need to put “new film” in the title. It is confusing for people that don’t watch your stuff all the time. First time viewers should be able to watch your vid, click your channel, and have another great film to watch right there. I know it is counterintuitive to separate the content, but I think it would help you very much if you just uploaded films to the channel. You would attract a lot more people to main channel, and on the back end more people will seek out these podcasts if interested. Keep up the great work I think you are great guys with the best intentions

Sure wished I had seen something like this before. Good taxidermist are worth everything. Lost a Mt. Goat which where I live is once in a lifetime.
Can you freeze your bear hides and tan them later? Like chest freezer right after your kill. I know you can do that with your bear skulls.
Great podcast/video. Contacted Judkin about my Africa mounts coming back to states soon. I really enjoyed the info on field prep of trophy. Maybe you can talk him into a video of doing the tube method?! Thanks again for content. Be well.
