This is so funny for me because I was arrested at 18 in 2007 for stealing from hobby lobby, and like you I didn't actually leave the store (turns out they can't stop you! you can just drop everything right there and leave freely) and went to the back, also pretended to pass out, also didn't faze anyone lmao

    I had over $50 in art supplies, since it adds up quick and I was getting stuff for class, PLUS I tried to remove price tags which raised the charge, so I was taken to jail just for the overnight. I also got to go through an expungement process after a probationary period, and it SUCKED. Telling people not to steal isn't gonna do anything, but if you are and you're caught before leaving the store, just drop it. Even if they're looking right at you, you're mortified, and you know you'll never be able to go back there again. Take the L and scram!

  4. Your story reminds me of my teen life prior to moving to MI. I loved outside of Gettysburg PA & very rural area. If we weren't partying in some field (cornfield, cow pasture etc) we were on the battlefield grounds, in the wooded areas or hills where it was harder to see us but when enough people get together & some girls start talking & laughing, well…then we were loud which brought the police…oh, those were fun times!!!

  17. Lol funny story and thanks for sharing,I think we all did some stupid shit as teens lol,I also went to jail as a minor,I was 15 and got caught underage drinking at a concert,I also was only there 1 night but it definitely was scary and stupid lol,we live and we learn.😁💚

  18. OMG I have such a similar story!!! When I was 15 my best friend at the time and I decided to go to the mall and then thought it would be a great idea to each steal this cute tank top we found. We went and checked out our other stuff and then right as we were leaving someone came up to us and was like “I’m gonna need you to come with me” and then they called the cops and we were arrested 😂😅 no weed involved but still. Ahhh the things we do when we are teenagers😂

  21. I'm gen-x kid & I feel like we had a similar childhood, lol! I got busted for stealing in middle school, it was one of those mini perfumes 🤣 so dumb!!! I totally get what your saying about feeling like you lived through so much but aren't that old too, lol!

  24. I went to juvy for a month and have been to county like thrice lol I was a bad teen 😂😂😂 but I luckily never had to stay in country as I was out before I was fully booked lol

    I went to jail twice for smoking weed once in 1996.

    I think I’ve told u the story.

    Smoking weed is the only reason I have a police record that I paid to get expunged as well cuz those arrests stopped me from getting a career.

    Now people r being released and I love it.

    U know what i always say, “Nature aint drugs !! “✌🏼😤

  26. I got arrested the week before Christmas 2021 in front of my toddler for defending myself against my neighbor and his wife that sexually assaulted then harassed me. 48 hours, went through all the processing and was let go without seeing the judge. First offense. I am 25

    Except once, I got pulled over and the cop was searching my car, thought he found something good and a bunch of tampons popped out at him🤣
