Just curious how you think the 2.4L Acura ILX stands up to the SI from a net cost benefit compare and also from a driver engagement perspective? SI and ILX seem to be similarly priced and similar sized so it’s a fair comparison imo
I really didn’t like the styling at first, but it’s definitely grown on me. If I were a few years younger, I’d be looking strongly at the civic. Currently I’m waiting for the full Integra details (hoping for an upgraded interior civic with a non-cvt) or the next gen Accord.
I think the interior is absolutely beautiful, but they missed the mark on exterior styling. In body in white, it’s just a 3 box dull design, the hard body line goes from front to back in a straight line, not very exciting, should have arched upward for a more dramatic style. And at 184 inches this is as big as a Audi A4. Civics use to be the smallest offering from Honda and now they are in midsize territory. The hatchback is a better fit.
