As a 17 year old in college learning to bean electrican and doing load balancing etc. In 20 years when EVs are the norm, our grid (uk) and possibly any other country that's on the same path, is going to get smacked up big time. In correlation to the electricity prices rocketing in the UK and we aren't even at the luanch of EV UK. Basically what im trying to say is EVs will benefit the world vastly but electrical grids are going to have to evolve because of the current draw needed for such a massive electrical draw. The ay around this is Car to Grid in which you can plug your car into the grid and allow it to use your electricity along side you use its. Basically your car becomes the batter for your household. But even at that thays a minot adjustment for a vast and potentially harmful outcome. I know it sounds like some sort of conspiracy waffle but it only seems inevitable unless we have big technological improvements or massive improvements to out grid system.
