This doesn't show true Christ-following at all. Baptism does not wash away sin either btw. The atheists that "went out from us" were never among us in the first place. American "Christians" these days are soft, , not focused on a relationship with God, generally unbiblical, and truly are stupid because of that.
I'm sure the interviews that were partially good (at the Creation museum and the Christian school) were chopped up to sound incoherent and downright stupid. But unbelievers can go right on and think of true Christianity as stupid too because the Bible says that the wisdom of God is foolishness to the world, and God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the "wise".
I believe that about 80-90% of those interviewed were Christian in name only and were just spewing out stuff that they heard from others, but haven't actually experienced themselves.
Honestly, their interviewees were either very shallow to begin with, trying to have a faith to follow, or just religious extremists period that want to put Jesus name on their own goals, not many (if any) of them actually showed relationships with Jesus.
It was empty religion.🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ This is not true Christianity, but unfortunately it is American "Christianity", so I guess this documentary is a good portrayal in that respect.🤨🤨😐
God is not forcing anyone into a relationship with him. There is one way that He has set and He has made it a take-it-or-leave-it thing.
