Sweden is more known than Norway internationally known through its many famous worldwide brands and businesses, some of them have been operating for more than a century. Norway's businesses are much less based on consumer goods and brands, and only very few have made it internationally.

When one is discussing wealth and standards of living, I think that it's a good idea to apply certain qualifiers. Scandinavians do indeed have a higher standard of living than most folks ( even among industrialized/developed economies ). But the higher taxes mean that they are more wealthy than most folks as measured on a per Capita basis. Wealth is managed. I've not heard of any Swedes or Norwegians who are on the Forbes 500.

The church in Norway is actually not a state church either. It was previously a state church though the country currently has a secular state. The royal family is on the other hand religious.

History seprated the Norway and Sweden. But While living in Sweden and visiting Norway many times it feels like moving between the countries we just feel like moving between a town of the same city. 🥀
