  1. I totally understand that you did what you had to do. When I was a younger girl growing up we had a beautiful cock rooster attacked my baby sister in and she was just walking around in diapers not really very sturdy on her feet and he has first starting to grow and he was just a little bit too big for his britches….Anyway at the time it was very scary and I was screaming my sister screaming and mostly I was hollering for daddy to come and he did right away and I remember these big boots just coming up in the air and hitting that rooster right across the head and took him out before he could hurt my sister. I mean he was just inches away from cutting up with his spurs & feet!!! From that moment on , Daddy was My Hero!!!!! ♥️♥️

It is hard to make decisions best for the farm and the children but you have to do it I know but you guys at all. You can’t be doing some thing because it’s a beautiful animal when you don’t want to make that decision you have to do what’s right for your children and I’m really proud of you guys. I know people who have taking in foster animals and wouldn’t correct them and they harm their children and it just angered me that they got more of that foster dogs and they did your children! I really do applaud you for having the courage to do what was right❣️❣️

  2. Great video as usual! It's so pretty there & nicer weather then CA! I was born back east in Steubenville, Ohio then lived in Toronto, Ohio until I was 6 years old. Parents moved us to CA in the summer of 1965 & I started 2nd grade with my younger 2 brothers. Luckily I spent my summers in Follansbee, W.VA with my Grandparents & cousins (landed TWA Airlines in Pittsburgh, PA which is 1 hour away from all my family in Ohio & W.VA) – so I might have told you my story before but maybe not. I am STILL A COUNTRY GIRL AT HEART 💖 & I LOVE WATCHING YOUR FAMILY channel very much. I found you by accident watched Keeping it Dutch & then your family & Arms Family. I watch Chad & his parents & now he & Rae's channel. For a while I got too busy & didn't get to watch you too much …but I realized how much BETTER I FEEL WATCHING YOU CASSIE & GARY! YOUR NOW MY FAVORITE!! It's your honesty & love for the world that shines thru. Your love for everyone shines thru & I love watching your happy children. It reminds me of my husband & I raising our 4 sons & 2 out of 4 were big time little league players & I was always the team mom. Do you bring snacks after each game? We took turns & when it's your turn, you bring 1 drink & 1 snack after the game. A lot of work but I didnt make the rules & the children loved it! I always brought healthy snacks & either juice boxes or Capri sun's , chips or granola bars & my Mom worked at Nabisco & I was lucky to get big boxes of various snacks for free. ( saved me lots of $$ mo ey & these days with groceries rising, I imagine its harder on folks! Where the Little League Games were played built a pretty nice ball park with fences, lighting & also had a snack shack & took turns working & selling co
hot dogs, hamburgers, chilie cheese fries, chips, candy too & coffee & various drinks. It was really fun & I love watching little league games & it sure does build confidence! To be honest, our sons were not good players at 1st & my oldest was so bad no one wanted him on their team ( he started playing in 3rd grade ( had a late start) then their Dad & Grandpa worked with them & they surprised me & were the best players on their teams (my older boys are 5 years apart) Looking back , Those were the BEST YEARS & SEASONS OF MY LIFE! I hear that some parents get very possessive & showed favoritism at times on some teams & Leagues out here in CA which is ridiculous & im like Cassie outspoken but very kind & would never let a child be treated that way & would speak to thecoaches about it or the parents. Nobody should take baseball forchildren & teach them those bad traits…but it happened. Theystopped that though , good thing!! Cassie HONEY, you looked VERY TIRED IN THIS VIDEO – I think your pooped out from playing so hard & sometimes you need a break! 😉😊😇🥰 Lol. I remember those days too, just part of life & raising children as you both know! Your both GREAT FANTASTIC PARENTS & PEOPLE! LOVE & PRAYERS, ALWAYS! ❤️ 🙏 ❤️

  3. When my family had chickens, when I was growing up, any rooster that attacked people, got turned into chicken soup, and chicken pot pie. As did the hens that stopped laying, due to age. They were not pets, they were livestock. Eggs or meat were the goals.

  4. I heard that when you have a mean chicken you have to put it in it's place by showing him who is boss. He said you grab the chicken or rooster and put their face to the ground and hold them there for a minute or two, and if they do it again you do the same thing for a longer time period. And each member of the family may have to do the same, which leads me to believe that if Gary hands off the chicken to each member of the family the first time and they each hold it down. it would probably learn quickly.

  5. Hello, Ransom is definitely going to be a farmer. Good job at baseball little buddy. Sorry about your rooster. My hen chicks are the same size as those ones. How is Xena doing with the digging? Have a great Weekend my friends.

  6. Is there an alpaca aspect to the overall plan? I see so many YT homesteaders with livestock that seem to be nothing more than large pets..goats…no.dairy plan. Alpaca…no fiber plans. Ratites…no oil or egg plans. unusual poultry breeds..no use of niche markets

  7. Massie is a pro with the camera dad… She explained everything and everywhere she was going…. And the slide was fast I had a hold on to my chair….
    From Baltimore Maryland
    AWESOME SAUCE

  8. He was a beautiful rooster but can’t have something that attacks people especially kids. Ransom you played an awesome game!! Have a great day!

  9. I had a roster that would come at you with his spurs. He was gone pretty quick! I have a cat that is a neurotic nut case. We came to an understanding early as she needs medication daily. She's pretty good now. There have been a few horses that tried to dominate but a whip(just to move the horse – never used it on any horse) and a round pen got them in shape pretty quick.
