Whether purposely or not, US Biden is making Ukrainian soldiers to pay in blood by giving away free weapons and bullets for them to fight Russian military. US Biden also making EU to pay for US oil by stopping them using Russian oil and gas. This is indeed a good strategy to destroy your enemy through 3rd party. In fact there is a Chinese term for it: 借刀杀人 [Definition: to lend sb a knife to kill sb].

It would have been interesting if the UK had made a pact with Nazi Germany at the start of WW11 to stay out of the war. Good for Germany perhaps, not so good for the rest of Europe. France and Germany much of a muchness. Germany hasn't recovered from having the shit kicked out of them and with France the capitulators you expect no less. Its shamefull and both countries, especially Germany has lowered its currency as a country of substance, got rich fat and lazy. Make good cars though , it's people not so good.

Even if banning Russian fossil fuels would cause a recession in Germany… so what. It would be worth it. In any event, it was clear long before the invasion that letting oneself become so dependent on a known killer like Putin was foolish and morally irresponsible. Germany now acknowledges that mistake but is still making Ukraine pay in Ukrainian lives for Germany's mistake. Given Germany's past and given in particular that the Nazis tended to be even more monstrous in Ukraine than in Russia, I would've predicted — before this invasion — that of all the European countries Germany will be the least willing to finance a dictator's barbaric invasion and the most willing to sacrifice to get on the right side of history. So my feelings about Germany now… somewhere between disappointed and shocked.
