Sorry you have to defend your motives after so long Scott! 🤦🤷 IMO DEPP is Done in Hollywood! ✅ Why he won't take responsibility FOR HIS ACTIONS is unknown. Maybe an intervention would have helped, it'd be less embarrassing and expensive for him. Leaves me to think… motive 🤔 He seems to want to take Heard down… with him, and I personally think she'll have a hard time recovering. I believe the end will be a wash. But closure and counselling is definitely NEEDED.

Mr Reisch, I have a question for you. If the trials are severed because Lori won’t waive her right to a speedy trial, could her attorney then postpone the trial after the cases are separated? And if so does the state have any recourse? I guess what I’m getting at is if this is a legal strategy to have the trials severed, would it work?
I just think it's interesting how everybody feels they need to take a side. Depp and Heard were a married couple with issues on both sides, problem was neither had respect for themselves or for eachother. They married via infatuation of one another, aka lust, none of their actions are love based.
They would do well to write a book together about dual toxic relationships.

I tend to agree that Mr. Depp's testony was painful and I think it ultimately hurt him. I don't think this was a one way street, I think they both were godawful to each other. At the end of the day, this is a shame for them both. I think that what heard was spewing was detrimental to his job, but he was just as harmful.

Firstly I am in the UK, I am a Domestic Abuse Victim that has had to stand up in Court against my Sons Father for nearly Killing me, however I have watched over and over again AH's Court Testimonies and they are frankly it is the Worst Acting I have ever seen! Secondly the UK Court "Justice" System is the most Corrupt System and is absolutely shambles so AH winning her Case over here in the UK is probably due to Hush Hush Hand Outs if I am honest!
I'm right on the very same page with you regarding Johnny & Amber. Even though I'm more team Johnny than Amber, I do think he can probably be just as toxic as her. But, I do feel like she was more abusive than he was. But yeah, I'm sure Johnny had times where he was just as provocative as Amber was. She just took it to extremes.

Johnny Depp is not an abuser, AH lied and the UK trial was unfair (even the Virginia judge confirmed this)- In addition, Heard's lawyer is seriously misled – the make up she paraded in the court which she stated AH kept in her purse for the entirety of her marriage (which ended in 2016) was only launched in 2017… you make up your mind based on concrete evidence who is lying. If I were Lori Vallow I would be very concerned my lawyers aren’t as well versed in my case as the State. Rob Wood has been looking at the evidence for years at this point, the witnesses watched it unfold and the defense has only been on the case a couple months, admitted he hadn’t even spoken to Lori Vallow at a recent hearing and probably focused on his active cases while she was incompetent.
I watched the trial on Thursday and wasn’t impressed with either side.
Anxious to see what all unravels in the Vallow/Daybell case. Who really gives a crap about Depp and Heard? I mean seriously, isn't he rich enough already? Maybe it's a sign he needs to retire and work on getting sober. And when it comes to Heard, Let It go. 🎵🎶🎵🎶. They were both hyped up on substances and out of control..

I'm curious how an incredibly loud argument, followed by a "frenzied attack" that ultimately resulted in the heinous murder of a woman wouldn't awaken a sleeping 15-year-old child in the same dwelling. Those must be some thick walls.
If one could put an actual number on it, I'd be curious to know how much Lori having her trial separated from Chad would improve her chances at beating the case. The evidence certainly doesn't change one bit, but her ability to flip the script and lay the entire blame on both Chad and Alex (as opposed to Alex alone) would probably play a fairly significant role in determining how the prosecutors opt to approach the jury.
Many people's extremely elementary takes on this Depp/Heard fiasco is really doing wonders at exposing the flagrant hypocrisy that plagues this country.
The Depp/Heard matter triggers me for different reasons than those of some (former?) subscribers. I find it sordid and distasteful. I fully agree with Scott in his assessment of it. In my opinion, people's reactions to it show their understanding of domestic violence is coloured by emotion rather than influenced by facts. This allows them to condone bad behaviour. I grew up in a family with DV. The perpetrators were able to present a sympathetic face to the outside world and revictimised the victims constantly by persuading possible supporters into believing that the victims were to blame. Abusers can be very skilled at this. In a situation where both parties are abusers and actors, the manipulation is high.
Lori appears to have aged about 20 years doing her stint in the nuthouse. And considering how vain she is, I'm not too ashamed to admit that I find it somewhat satisfying.
We can't compare London Courts to American Courts……DIFFERENT LAWS, DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES…..If that case was tried here with a media outlet, it would have been a different outcome.
