  2. Well at least it's free of soy and canola, beats most of the meat substitutes on the market. I'm definitely no vegan, but if there is ever a meat shortage, I'm glad this is a slightly healthier plant protein product.

  3. i used to eat plant based, but pretty sure i never will do that 100% again. still i like the idea of this product. does not deserve the hate its getting. still im a bit annoyed that siim uses data that are faulty regarding water and co2 use of meat. it does not take into consideration that animals pee and thus water is reintroduced to environment again, and that the carbon climate change thing is total bs to enslave humanity

  4. Given the state of our world where we are treated like cattle (metaverse, high gas prices, forced support of foreign wars, inflation, lockdowns, fake beef), this ad feels too much like satire.

It may be because it's advertised as a meat replacement, which works better if the target audience is vegan. But if the ad focused on the fact that pea and hemp are superior to whey and soy, and other health benefits, this would be more palatable. It's a good product though.

  5. Sim, very disappointed that you are pushing this product. No plant protein has the bioavailability of animal protein. This product is also inconsistent with our evolutionary past as a species. Very disappointed.

  6. On the sustainability discussion:What I know is ( I do not have a PhD in this so…)

The carbon argument over beef/ruminants is way over inflated in relation to other carbon contributors. The whole cow fart theory in my mind is absurd.
As someone else stated elsewhere it is not the cow it is the how, ruminants farmed correctly can actually contribute carbon to the soil and can promote the growth of vegetation and trees, i.e be beneficial to the environment.
Agricultural production of monocrops has a huge environmental impact, huge areas of land have to be used and the produce then transported huge distances, this has a huge environmental impact.

Ruminant farming done correctly and especially if done locally can be sustainable and practically meet the world needs.
There is definitely a campaign against ruminant agriculture that slants and twists the truth.
This is not a response to this video but on another comment here on sustainability and the ability of ruminant farming to supply the world.
My home country is South Africa and I know that the rural population can easily live off meat.
There is a lot more to this but enough written by me ☺️😎
