  3. In order to fulfill the <promise of Bitcoin, it needs to be decentralized. Having too many miners in a state or a country leads to a centralized point of failure. Having Texas take all the ex-Chinese miners is a very bad idea. We should be careful about over valuing any politician in crypto. Three weeks ago the Texas Senator came out in favor of crypto. This week Goldman Sachs came out in favor also. Is it coincidental that the Senator's wife has been on Goldman's board since 2012? On the other hand, A former presidential candidate came out against crypto a week or so ago. The same day her daughter bought 100,000 shares of a pharmaceutical company. My point is that their behavior is not wrong. It's just that it will help keep crypto independent and decentralized if politicians do their job and give us reasonable regulations and crypto doesn't have political favorites or leaders. Bitcoin is growing and after that my profit. I'm already starting to think about what I'll buy for this money on Bitfinex. Proof of Work is not the enemy – it is the method to convert energy (work) into a form useful for trade. The security is in the fact work is required to get the blocks. So, converting the entire system into something not PoW is a bad idea. But I do like the approach to alter the block algorithm so that it can only be validated by specific energy sources. Need some good physicists to tackle this one. Been a crazy year 2021 and next year isn't looking any better to the hodlers. I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in space in general or probably just naïve, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading since it is way profitable than holding. The market has seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders are taking advantage of the dip and pumping even more towards trading sessions. My advice to new investors: More emphasis should be put into day trading as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.
