  1. If you drink smoothies, add avocado instead of bananas. It makes the smoothies thick and creamy while getting all the health benefits.

Colleen – thank you for your videos. I found your channel late one night when I couldn't sleep and you inspired me to do ADF. I started the next morning on 1/28/22 and have since lost 25 lbs. More importantly, my blood sugar is stable and I am lowering my blood pressure. ADF is working for me. Thank you for putting yourself out there and being an inspiration to so many.

  2. Because I am new, one week down, I am not worrying too much about eating specific foods right now because I don’t want to feel restricted and quit. The pure fast every other day is restricting enough right now.

  3. Thank you for sharing your life and success with us. I feel hope for the first time in years. I am 64 years old and completed my first fasting day. I woke up feeling joy and hopeful about this lifestyle. ( Also lost about 4 pounds!) Will continue to watch your posts for continued motivation. Thank you, and God bless you!

  4. i didnt know potatoes were high in Vitamin C! i love sweet potatoes and slowly falling back in love with regular potatoes 🙂 also i have started learning how to make ramen-style bowls with spaghetti noodles in case i dont have ramen, and make my own seasoning to pour in (coconut aminos, ginger, green onion, garlic, chili paste, rice vinegar, sea salt and coconut sugar) #muah!

  5. Love this – im watching this on my feast day and its crazy how when i get thru a good fast day my appetite is like non-existent.. I loove having healthy food on my feast esp avocados, seaweed (nori), eggs, salmon and omg fresh bok choy and collards in my Ramen bowls, girl you got me hooked. I LOVE Swiss chard steamed, with rice and sardines, and some coconut oil, with a sprinkle or sesame seeds and sea salt… seems a strange combo but its soo delish. thank you for your awesome channel.

  6. Thanks for the vid. I also love supplements. Since I have started ADF (2 weeks ago), my goal is to have a green smoothie with my supplements mixed in on my eating day. I have Sergio’s 30-day green smoothie book, and started a couple of days. My goal is to continue it. I am looking online now for a good liquid multivitamin. It will help bring my energy up.

  7. I’m 2 months and 2 days in simply because I came across your ADF back in January. This has been working for me when nothing else would. I’ve lost 12.8 pounds of pure fat! I was 181.4 on January 31 and today March 29, i am 168.2 pounds! I will be getting married on October 1st this year and my goal is 135-140 pounds !! Maybe even 145 lol. As I type this I am fasting and 25 hours in !

  8. Hi Colleen, today marked 8 days of water fasting I got up feeling so tired and weak so I've decided to break my fast with broth infused with lemon juice and parsley. I tested my ketone and it's well pass 160. My thoughts is to continue on with a rolling 72hrs fast. What are your thoughts? any advice will be helpful TYVM! BTW I started at 5'8" 285lbs. luckily no meds no health issues. thus the reason I'm doing it to reap the health benefits and yes to get my weight back to a sustainable number. As of this morning I scaled in at 265.8 I can't seem to find the excitement in the WL, maybe weird, but my excitement comes from looking forward to accomplishing another fast. Hope to hear from you, thank you!

  9. My Saturday feast day included ackee and Saltfish with callaloo, of course rice & peas with plaintains 😊 my hubby, 20 yrs together is Jamaican. How did u discover what supplements would be best for your body? Been searching and cannot find a good resource of this info. Thank you for such great content

  10. Thank you Colleen for reminding us to take in enough nutrients and electrolytes. I am not one for taking suplements. I tend to forget after a few days. I find I waste my money because I buy them then stop taking them along the way.
So I try to eat as many nutrients as possible. Lots of veggies, fruit and protien. Thank you for inspiring us. Yes, I love peanut butter on aotmeal.

  11. Yesterday was my first fast day and I was supper nervous… BUT, I did it and it wasn't as bad as I imagined. I just kept asking myself "are you really hungry", everything I started thinking about food. I realized that I wasn't really hungry, but just used to eating when I have nothing to do. It was very eye-opening.
I started my feast day with Carmel vanilla cream coffee and then I had eggs with spinach, bacon and cheese. I found I wasn't as hungry as I thought I would be after my fast day. I'm ready for the journey! Thanks Colleen for the helpful videos!!

  12. When I came across ADF/intermittent fasting it was a moment of Revelation for me. .I was like the guy in the film 'Blues Brothers 2000' who ascended into the sky and said "I understand, I totally absolutely completely positively understand!" Now I finally know why the vast majority of middle-aged people like me have big bellies & aren't losing weight. .it's because they are eating 7 days a week, 365 days a year! I have a flat belly now Because of ADF/intermittent fasting.

  13. I’m beginning my journey one day at a time. I’ve been walking my patient’s dog each morning for a week so far. I’ve also incorporated stretch belt exercises and focused on what I eat.

Because I take a barrage of medications, at the moment, I chose not to go ‘full force’ into ADF. My jeans are getting to large around my waist.

I do plan to walk with a neighbor at least 3 days a week to start and then increase to 5 days a week. Thank you for your nuggets each video and the beautiful transformation of your body and how gorgeous you look in your new wardrobe ♥️.

  14. I am on day 10 of OMAD or one meal a day and down 8.3lbs! Incredible! I've got about 40 more to go to get back down to a size 4 aka my normal body before my binge eating issues started. But honestly, it's not just the weight loss that's fantastic. I feel great and I've gained a lot of control over eating and my binge eating. I feel fantastic and I am never hungry anymore. It's crazy. I actually have to force myself to eat! I do track my calories because I'm afraid of under eating since my body doesnt get hungry anymore. I think now would be a good time to make the switch to ADF which is where I want to be at.

  15. Omg ! Yaaas to Cherry Poptarts!! I'm eating healthier now going into 3rd week of ADF! But , i still get my goodies on … pop tart, chocolate!! Gonna make
weigh ins every 2 weeks (;-) less scale dependence , exercise once /day… and yes began journey of journaling … Thank you

  16. I roast my oats, cashew nuts and sunflower seeds in very little olive oil over low heat and after cooling them I add sliced fruit and youghurt or milk. It taste delicious. Thanks Colleen for creative ideas and inspiration, highly appreciated 👏🏽🌹

  17. Hello just starting ADF. If I track calories should I aim for maintenance which for me would be 1800 calories or more. One of your other videos you mentioned taking into account the calories would be for two days so dividing it gives me 900 calories each day. Could you straighten me out please. Lol

  18. I love spinach 😋 I make into a tortilla I cup or more with 1 egg mix it well with mixer spray my pan wala make a spinach tortilla for the morning sweet potato is good for you.
