So Car-jitsu actually has more real-life implications than what you thought. In law enforcement or national security, there are times when an operator needs to meet an informant, and these meetings often take place in cars. The informant gets picked up by a team, usually with some sort of back story to why he is getting picked up by this car at this place (Usually the team tailors the cars' appearance to the informants' profession – if he is an electrician, the car would be a pick up truck with some tool in the back, for example). Now given the nature of this interaction, the informant is probably not a nice guy – He is probably involved in some criminal activity, or in my case and the unit I worked for, some terrorist activity, so we actually had to learn and practice Car-Jitsu (wasn't called this though, it was just Krav Maga but in a car) – How to fight someone in a car that reaches for your weapon, or wants to stab you or tries to grab the driver/ steering wheel. So yes, Car jitsu is real 😀
