Incredibly disappointed in the denial of our NC GOP's attitude on cannabis to this point. Conservative politics are an integral part of the South but being ignorant of the benefits while pushing for more alcohol and tobacco sales for the sake of "youth safety"…. do better?
without commenting about the substance of the speakers' viewpoints, this presentation is obviously the AGO's attempt to validate and defend the state's current position of decriminalization but no further. I would be interested in seeing a variety of credible medical and social perspectives rather than just this slanted troupe. there are plenty out there. I'm not saying these individuals are necessarily biased, but the compellation of the speakers in this forum certainly is.
im posting before watching this, but lets make sure that we do away with the section about requiring dispensary operators to have 5 years prior experience in medical mmj…thats only available to out of state conglomerates who overproduce intentionally to put mom and pop shops out of business as they "race to the bottom". It should be clearly made allowable to grow your own medicine. My presumption is that tobacco companies have bought up a lot of the bigger MMJ businesses and are planning on dominating NC market. Keep big tobacco out of writing the legislation please.
