Thanks for watching! In addition to the episode page resources, Simon created an amazing pdf that contains references, studies, articles, and products (including specific brands) + infographics for everything discussed in this episode and RRP 638. You can download it for free here: https://plantproof.com/richroll/
On a more important note, where did Simon get that sweater from?
Completely and totally EXCELLENT. I was glued to my laptop the entire time. Thank you so much Rich and Simon. Very generous offering.
When will you get out of your echo chamber and have an interview with someone like Ken Berry? Let’s have a discussion where opposing viewpoints can find middle ground instead of just spoon feeding the same narrative.
Love this video….except for the hat!!
We usually do empty stomach workout, so before doing workout we can have a beetroot or powder or nitrates, and then after half or an hour we can start training, than even after workout, our body needs to supply blood, nutrients, oxygen, so we have benefits even after the workout 👍
Thank you very much for this video—a lot of nuggets and wealth of information. Thought I’d share this link in reference to the beet greens! Guidance and Blessings 🙏🏾

I've read that Turmeric binds to iron. Should one have additional Turmeric in a Tea outside of food eating hours if one is low on iron?
Is the seaweed etc. To get iodine ok for people with iodine allergies so far all I know is liquid allergy and shellfish. I have been wondering this for long time
Bread Alone has a whole wheat sourdough that is fantastic! I find it at my local organic shop, but I've also seen it in Whole Foods.
Thanks a ton for such well organized and structured podcast. PDF is amazing. True professionals on the ground. Regarding Leucine, when Reading Plant Based Athlete by Matt Frazier and Rober Cheeke and other credible sources – they say the toughest to get from food when one is Vegan- is Lysine not Leucine. Any thoughts?
it is amazing that all this is in his head! like no notes or something like that. Well done interview too. will have to listen again and take notes because I cant remember all of this.. 😀
I don't think the two of you discussed omega 3/6 and vegan food sources or supplements of that?
I would love to see a head to head with Dr. Shawn Baker and Simon Hill followed by a power lifting comp that would be fun to see the Carnivore kooks get smashed….
Would the "Lite Salt". be a concern for those on medications that need to be aware of potassium consumption?
THANK YOU so much for this very large and detailed tome of a podcast. Just in the nick of time for me and also I hope this goes viral!
You can buy losalt off the shelf in most supermarkets in the UK. As to whether you can distinguish the taste between it and normal salt, I guess depends on how much you use day to day. Me, I find there's enough salt in the food I eat and don't add anything to my food. My wife however covers her food in salt and she can tell.
This is the best conversation on nutrition for me. Wow! Wow!
Thank you!!
For health and endurance plant based is the way to go. Whole food with some Fish and grass fed protein is okay I believe.
How do you know what you suggest works for everyone
Sqirrelly sprouted organic bread at Costco. Cheap, meets all the mentioned requirements as far as I can see.
Trying to come to terms with how a diet that lacks key nutrients can be the best for humans.
Loved this 🙂
Great messages and all done without judgement. Amen to that
The last time Simon was on it served as a wake up call to fix up my diet. I did great for a few months, but in the last 2 or so weeks have slipped off the ball slightly, watching this has been a kick up to arse to finally reorder those vitamins I ran out of and get some whole foods in during the meals where I'm lacking! Great podcast
No salt😷😷😷😷😷
Excellent!! Loved it all, especially wonderful closing words! Thanks!!!
For the skeptics, for the well-informed, and in those last few minutes of his thesis, for the romantics. 💕🌱
thanks
Incredible content! Thank you for speaking on this podcast Simon. Your passion and integrity is amazing. I always learn something from your content every single day. I have read your book 5x and recommend it to everyone. This is the type of content that should be taught in schools here in Aus! Education is 🔑🌱🥗
Thank you, Rich and Simon for this amazing podcast this was a master class about plant base diet that make me more savvy…☺️
As a dietitian and culinary medicine specialist, this is THE guide to adopting a plant-forward diet. Well done guys!
Be cautious with beets and spinach, super high oxolate content. I got kidney stones from having too much spinach for 18 months.
