Tim is convinced he can make gasohol, a mixture of moonshine and gasoline, to power vehicles in response to the gas shortage …

  1. I used to own a Farmall M tractor that was dual fuel. It was made during WWII when fuel shortages could interrupt farmers. There were two fuel tanks a small one gallon gasoline tank and then the main tank. These tractors would start on gasoline and warm up, then once warmed up they could be run on corn liquor, kerosene or as I believe any mixture of these and a few other fuels. Not sure of diesel or heating oil but possibly.

  2. Wasn’t even a gas shortage to begin with it was a cyber attack which almost always means no access(locked out) or u got stole from/held for ransom etc etc…but bc the media kept calling it a shortage n ppl are dumb n listened they started panicking n over buying way more than they needed for such a short time then they really did start running low over there

  3. The first cars were made to run off of moonshine, used to be able to get a permit to cut moonshine and gasoline. Although George Bush was an idiot according to Leading expert alcohol and gasoline is terrible for your new workers because your newer cars have aluminum heads that heat up quicker. And also to make corn whiskey alcohol Petrosky takes up too much energy you don't get the correct energy back so it's very inefficient. Marijuana oil the preferred choice for biofuel but we have a bunch of idiots in our government

  4. Yes 10% ethanol. But that ethanol is 99.9% pure. Theres no way to get moonshine close to that even with a reflux still. Maybe 95% at best but at that point you might as well just dump everclear into your tank.

  5. lol exactly how to burn up your pistons and combustion parts of your motor real fast. while to much will solidify if you let it sit long ruining your fuel system. The one guy knew it wasn't going in his truck. they're not dumb just good intertainers

  6. You can only get it to 95% alcohol, or 190 proof, then that last 5% of water will not distill out, so you have to use a molecular sieve to filter that last 5% of water out. That last 5% water will prevent the alcohol from being of a high enough quality to be used as a fuel. You have to use only noncorrosive metals in the fuel and intake system as the alcohol is corrosive, and for running pure alcohol fuel, you need to adjust the fuel to air ratio as it's different from gasoline, and you need to run a much higher compression ratio to get all the power out of that fuel, like 13:1 or even 14:1!
The old FORD Model A and T used the choke along with the fuel ratio adjustment lever to adjust the fuel to air ratio for running moonshine in that engine out on the farm.
