  1. I was FINALLY diagnosed with this. I thought I was going crazy. Everyone kept telling me it was just anxiety and I knew it wasn’t. Starting injections soon & ive never been so excited to be jabbed with a needle. Heart palpitations can also be a symptom

  2. I have just caught this. I hate taking b vitamins as they constantly make me feel like I will vomit for ages. But, I can’t afford to have the injections as I’ve been out of work due to this.

Also, another symptoms is GAS! GAS! GAS!

  3. Does anyone know if you have to fast for a B12 blood test? I've heard yes and no. Worried because I didn't fast last time my B12 levels might have been falsely elevated. My test came back as 356 pmol/L (5 months prior it was 414 pmol/L). The referance range is 162-811 pmol/L according to my test print out, so I was told I do not have a deficiency however the symptoms remain.

  4. I thought I was dying, going crazy, my world turned upside down. Emergency Room MRI, CT Scan coun not figure out, discharged me. A Nurse Practitioner correctly pointed out I was dangerously low in Vitamin B12. So, injections followed. I feel permanent damage, and too late. Hope and praying I am wrong, and no permanent damage

  5. I take a b complex & magnesium, plus other vitamins, but I have had several accidents not due to a vitamin deficiency & I suffer from tingling in my hands/feet bcuz I Hmmmmmmm ave been in fatal car accidents & I fell down a flight of stairs & I have 9 screws in my neck bcuz if these accidents…. So therefore I have all these symptoms bcuz of it & not from a vitamin deficiency….

  6. I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2013 to avert liver failure. Worked out great. But I was unaware the changes to my diet thereafter would bring about severe B12 deficiency due to not getting enough nutrition. It has been quite an effort over the years to even determine it was a deficiency. One doctor told me I had MS and I should go home and adjust to life changes – whatever that means. I have a surgery list as long as your arm, some of which have hindered the problem. The most obvious symptoms for me are / were – sudden short term memory loss. In the space of just a couple of days I will start repeating myself which maddens the husband, when he snaps and says that’s the fifth time I’ve told him the same thing, I know it’s time for the injection. My eyes go foggy too. The symptoms have changed over the years, like a progression of sorts. So for now I mark it on the calendar and go in for monthly injection and that seems to do the trick. For now. I must say, it would help considerably if what seems like a large number of GP’s would be a little less quick to dismiss symptoms. So many times nowadays patients have to do a lot of investigating themselves because doctors give the impression you’re a sook and have more important things to do. I have learned if you feel your doctor is too dismissive or flippant, try speaking plainly with them. If they remain the same, consider going to another. Ultimately you are responsible for your own self and health.

  7. I just stumbled across this video and with a bunch of newly diagnosed health issues, I’m going to bring this up at my doctors appointment on Tuesday. This is really good information and I was unaware of a lot of what you discussed. Thank you so much. I was wondering if you could maybe do a topic on prediabetes. Wow! I didn’t even see it coming. It’s not like I eat a lot of junk food or am obese. No one in my family has it, and it is believed that a medication that I started earlier in 2021 was the direct cause of this diagnosis. I knew the risk’s when I started the medication, but going without it was even a bigger risk. I got the diagnosis over the phone from my primary care on November 14, 2021. They haven’t had has much as an emergency appointment, so I’m left fending for myself on what to do. My thyroid was off as well. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid in 1990 and never had any problems until starting that medication. It’s like a domino effect. Now I’m seeing some symptoms from B12 deficiency that I already have and have had for the past year. I’m a mess. I’d be greatly interested if you could do a prediabetes for dummies video. Blessing in this New Year.

  8. I recently read that if you take a proton pump inhibitor, for GERD/reflux, you may develop a vitamin B12 deficiency. Ive also recently developed symptoms of restless leg syndrome. Which has been shown to be linked to a B12 deficiency. It makes sense because it’s a nervous system disorder. After watching this video, I was able to say yes to a majority of these symptoms and started B12 supplements today.

  9. This video is intriguing one in that we might want to know the sources of B12 as well, right. So informative yet scary one. Now I am getting to know what happened to me few years back (which got back to normal only after having experienced few of the symptoms mentioned). So I guess as we start getting B12 (after a long time of deficiencies) again, we can regain what is lost, is it so? or are there any permanent damage to nerve cells / etc done?

  10. Another great reason to not adopt plant based diets/Veganism. They are absolutely deluded and dishonest about B-12 and it's something they get owned on constantly, by those in the know. There is ZERO possible way to get B-12 from plants or dirty plants or whatever nonsense these people think. The ligand form of B-12 is patently useless to humans. So it's either supplements, injections or animal products there is no other way to deal with B-12 deficiency.

  11. Thank you for this because as of Today I am still receiving B12 injections and Iron Infusions. I have to get 3 more infusions because I am still low. It a good thing you produced this video because people think the iron low is causing the anemia. The B12 is also the culprit.

  12. I was hospitalized with B12 deficiency and protein deficiency in 2007 while pregnant my aunt told me my heart would of stopped if I hadn't gotten the injections for 7 days I was there

  13. Good information, but I’ve got to say this was difficult to listen to. Reading each word individually sounds like a child who is a poor reader, very tedious 😬😬😬
