White House Confirms Biden Will Choose Black Woman For Supreme Court

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that President Biden is standing by his campaign promise to choose a black woman as his Supreme Court nominee.

The confirmation comes as the media announced news of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement.

“The president has stated and reiterated his commitment to nominating a black woman to the Supreme Court and certainly stands by that,” Psaki said at a press briefing Wednesday.

Biden vowed during his campaign to select any potential Supreme Court nominee based solely on their race and gender.

“We talked about the Supreme Court — I’m looking forward to making sure there’s a black woman on the Supreme Court to make sure we in fact get everyone represented,” the President said at the time.

Black Woman To The Supreme Court

There is, of course, nothing wrong with nominating a woman of any race to the Supreme Court, black, white, or otherwise.

But, imagine being nominated to the highest court in the land, working hard your entire life to advance your career, and having politicians view your qualifications as your gender and skin color first, and other qualifications second.

Talk about reducing somebody’s worth based on identity politics.

“Everyone should be represented,” Biden had said prior to becoming the Democrat nominee in 2020.

“The fact is, what we should be doing — we talked about the Supreme Court. I’m looking forward to making sure there’s a black woman on the Supreme Court to make sure we in fact get every representation,” he added. “Not a joke.”

That “not a joke” bit is pretty strange.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed out the absurdity of what Biden has now cornered himself into doing.

“All he said was she’s going to be black and she’s going to be female, because to him, that’s all that mattered,” Carlson stated. “You almost got the impression that Joe Biden believes all black women are the same. They’re identical.”

He went on to address Biden’s comments that the Supreme Court needs a black woman on the bench so as to “look like the country.”

“So, Biden will nominate a black woman. Great, she’ll represent about seven percent of the population. But where’s Biden’s Pacific Islander nominee?” Carlson asked.

“And why isn’t there an American Indian on the court, or a genderqueer, or someone from the chronic fatigue syndrome community, or a justice with cognitive disabilities? Why isn’t there an Afghan refugee under consideration?” the Fox News host continued.

It’s absurd but no more absurd than what Biden is actually doing.

Biden – Bowing To The Left

Never before has one man prostituted himself to the far left even as he climbed to and now holds the highest office in the land as Joe Biden.

So desperate was he to defeat Donald Trump in the 2020 election that, when things were looking grim for his campaign, he did the bidding of Representative Jim Clyburn (D-SC) in order to get his endorsement and turn his campaign around.

A Fox News report indicates Clyburn, during a break in a presidential debate, threatened to withhold his endorsement if Biden didn’t specifically mention a promise to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court.

“Don’t you dare leave this stage without doing it,” Clyburn allegedly said.

Biden bent the knee, Clyburn endorsed him, and the rest is history.

Even before Biden’s inauguration, progressive groups were pressuring Supreme Court Justice Breyer into retirement, so Biden and a Democrat majority could replace him with a black woman.

Politico reported well over a year ago that a group known as Demand Justice was praising Breyer’s service, but they’ve “encouraged him to make way for a younger liberal replacement and to do it early in Joe Biden’s first term.”

“History will remember him even more fondly if he ends up playing a critical role in ensuring the appointment of the first black woman to the Court,” the group said in a statement.

“Timing his retirement in the coming year would guarantee that opportunity.”

And here we are. Biden must now do their bidding as well.

Interestingly enough, Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, believes Biden’s pledge to nominate a black woman to the Supreme Court based solely on her identity is ironic, as well as unconstitutional according to … the Supreme Court.

“What Biden was declaring,” Turley said of his campaign promise, “would effectively constitute discrimination in admission to the Supreme Court.”

“Indeed, the Supreme Court has declared that such race or gender conditions are strictly unconstitutional for admission to public colleges,” he pointed out.

“In the name of diversity, Biden embraces discrimination,” he wrote.

The Supreme Court specifically denounced such rationalizations as harming minority groups in the affirmative action case Turley analyzes in his column.

“Preferential programs may only reinforce common stereotypes holding that certain groups are unable to achieve success without special protection based on a factor having no relationship to individual worth,” they wrote.

That is exactly what President Biden is signaling to whomever he may choose as Supreme Court nominee.

None of your merits or individual worth matter, the only reason you have achieved this honor is your race and gender. Your intelligence, your experience, your legal expertise – meaningless.
