Heading over to AIT next month, coming over to the Army from the Marines, super excited! Got the MOS I wanted coming in, and I got to keep my rank! It's super ironic, I always questioned why my buddies from my old unit went and transitioned into the Army, but here I am doing it myself. Gonna be a culture shock for a while, but I'm looking forward to it!

I have a question. I have two insert buddies (E-4) that were in the Marines for many years and are NOT day zero were told after the forge they are to be with the local population in the squad bay. For the past few months they were with the other priors in the company since Red Phase helping with Detail. They brought up the Regulations to the Drill Sergeants tactfully about Regulation TRADOC 350-6 Pg 67 Paragraph C 1. That states E-1 – E-4 should be offered different living quarters (barracks) if feasible which there is plenty of room. The DS didn't really acknowledge what they had to say about it and just simply ignored what they had to say. What do you think the next appropriate action that I should say to them to help guide in this situation? Thank you btw for reading this long comment.
