Asian Woman Killed After Being Shoved in Front of Oncoming Subway Train at Times Square Station

An unidentified Asian woman was killed Saturday morning after being shoved onto the subway tracks into the path of a southbound train at Times Square.

Police said the suspect, who was described as “a man with a grey beard wearing a black hooded jacket,” has been taken into custody after he turned himself in.

A deranged man allegedly shoved an Asian woman to her death in front of an oncoming subway train Saturday morning in Times Square, police and sources told The Post.

The horrifying episode unfolded at around 9:40 a.m. when the unidentified woman was struck by a southbound R train at the Times Square station on West 42nd Street and Broadway, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

“A person of interest has been taken into custody,” the department spokeswoman said.

A man walked into a transit precinct on Canal Street and confessed, sources said.

The man, who has a gray beard and was wearing black hooded jacket, stuck his tongue out at photographers as he was being led into the Midtown South precinct on West 35th Street.

The victim was with two other women when she was pushed, a police source said.
