  7. For thrips, diatomaceous earth food grade. Add to soil. If still in veg, dust the leaves intermittently with neem oil.
    One kills eggs in the soil the other kills larvae and adults. You would need to take care of the who generation, not just the adults.

    Also, something cool to kill all bugs….
    Use a high yellow, posted note maybe, and grease it with petroleum jelly. Hang a few pieces around the plants. The color resembles flowers and many insects would be attracted to. Once they land, they can't leave to sticky jelly.

  10. On Amazon they have these little Seedling Grow Bags that are Biodegradable and they are a little bigger than a solo cup. I have been using them with good results. No more transplanting. Just grow the clone or seedling out in the bag , same concept of the larger grow bags with the air pruning the roots so when ur ready to up pot you just throw it in its final pot . I dont grow Autos but I think they would be great for people that do. there way better than the old cardboard ish Bio cups they used to sell. If there is any down fall to using them that Im over looking please let me know but other than that everyone should give them a looksy

Anyone that deals with Chloramine, give your water department a call and ask when they “burn the lines” most will choose a day once a month where they will sanitize the lines with chlorine only. Gather water on those days if ya want. I keep my own goldfish for bait so the chlorine days, I change my bait tank water versus using chemicals that are expensive to remove them

  17. I know this is apples to oranges, but, my 12×30 greenhouse we're building cost me less then $600. I'm a contractor so it's not far to compare me building a greenhouse to buying a tent lol. But I graduated from a 3×5 tent to a greenhouse. No more $600 on tents!

  19. Great Episode! Obviously freezing will degrade the quality. However, frozen for three years is always better than if it had been stored at room temperature for that period of time. I freeze everything I don't plan on smoking within 5 months. Freeze when dry, but not fully cured, and switch jars after removal from freezer.

  25. I used to grow in 2×4's. a great harvest from one 2×4 was 10oz, but tended to get 6 to 8oz (flowered with 315W CMH) I found the sweet spot for me was 3 five gal pots per tent.

  26. I’m gonna feel stupid for asking buuuutttt…
    In living soil, I’ve often seen an army of tiny tiny bugs that show up on all surfaces that get watered. They’re longer than they are wide, probably thinner than a grain of sand (maybe the width of a predator mite but 3xs the length, really small), and dark black. I’ll often find them in my humidifier. They appear to be harmless. They just show up when there’s water then disappear. I’m guessing beneficial composters?

  27. People from out of state can get Oklahoma medical marijuana cards. So just get them before then…? Do an online doctor visit for $25 then get the card. Just say you have insomnia, or your leg hurts and it replaced meds you were on … It WILL get approved. Takes less than two weeks…

  28. I checked into the grow dots and would have to say…..not for me… but wait its because everything I have is to far along and doing to well to switch up. Was listening to the show and heard Scottie talk about some coco mixed with dots and think I will try that mix next time along with some ethos genetics. Mix with water and feed it, recharge once a week. Would love to try this

  29. you know what would work for the Colorado dgc cup if your looking two purchase or rent space for a short time.. rent a circus tent and rent some land for a few days.. some ware that allows circus tents put up in giant venues…respectfully sir's food for thought.. that way you avoid the local bylaws… if you want two get together with many people say for a marriage or graduation ,,, you can rent local lands… set up would be done by the company that rents the tent.. they may even no good spots in the area…

  35. We run well water where I’m at in southern Ontario Canada. You can’t use it to grow for long periods of time. 480ppm and a pH of 9. Chloramine included. Even when I used AN sensi coco with the pH balance, it didn’t stay stable. I think it was the ammonia/ chlorine bond.

  39. Water temperature from tap will all change PPM's. I saw 200ppm difference from cold to hot water just as a test. Hot water… more minerals breaking down… I don't buy recharge just to work against it.

  40. I loved coco in the past for hydro but now growing fulll organic/natural no bottles. Peat and clay had a better natural ph to start off with in my opinion. If you want to debate this subject I’m down to do a grow off. Link up with me.

  43. Using a carbon base filter does get rid of the left over contaminates after 24 hours using tap water. Hours/PPM/Straight tap ppms. Etc.. Keep up the great work here and on fellow podcasts 👍
