Where’s mcdougall
I agree hard to eat just a handful. It’s about three for me
What about omega 9?
Omega 3 fats are fine to eat in high amounts says Dr. Brooke Goldner M.D. Flax seeds and oils, Chia and avocado. Everything else fat wise limit to no more than a handful a day. She gets people reversing all kinds of auto immune diseases this way and other chronic issues.
The fat issue is the least of it. What about the anti-nutrients and physic acid in raw nuts and seeds? I soak all nuts.
What about the anti-nutrients and physic acid in the nuts mentioned? Raw nuts vs soaked or sprouted nuts?
Just love P Popper's matter of fact take on this. So true, just eat the whole food and stop overthinking
Here's my method to ensure minimizing hazards from industrial processed n mass ag-mfgr. nuts n seeds etc "organic food"not grown by you: soak overnight in sea salt brine rinse then ferment w/beneficial bacteria..incubate couple days 105-110F drain then into dehydrator @107F 10-20 hrs…slight pickled flavor n crunch prebiotic/probiotic benefits
If you're working to reverse your heart disease, or if you're looking to reduce your body weight, then stop eating fatty foods like nuts and avocados. Otherwise eat them in moderation.
Does sprouting nuts make a big difference health wise, or is sprouting not necessary?
I can have chocolate in the house and other temptations after reading the Pleasure Trap and understanding why we are gorging on foods that are addictive. Refined sugar, coffee, alcohol etc
Eat something green everyday eat berries, seeds and nuts. Don’t eat oil. Don’t gorge and exercise. Every year eat shit and feel how shite that makes you feel just to remind yourself why you eat a whole food plant based diet
I eat them in small amounts. If you're trying to gain weight eat more.
I dont know anyone who would like eating more than one avocado at a time anyways.
Thanks! I love a bit of walnuts!
A plant based diet that gave me type 2 diabetes in the first place. I now will continue to eat meat, eggs, cheese, fish, and drink milk no matter what the vegan hate trolls say, or the so called peer reviewed studies they link to, or what any vegan propaganda video says. Eating meat and choosing your own diet is a HUMAN RIGHT! Humans have been hunting and harvesting meat and cooking and eating meat since they mastered fire since the stone age.
yippee 😀🤘🏼

I can't eat a handful of chips, so I don't buy them.
