  1. So glad the doctor mentioned the deleterious effect of microwaving food…!!! It is almost as hard to get someone to give up their microwave as it is to get them to give up their mobile phone!

  2. I was a vegetarian for 5 years, and my whole life I have been always health concious, eating wholesome foods, no sugar, no fast foods. My health had been always poor, got respiratory infection all the time, pre diabetic to the point that I got blurry vision and brain fogs and declined cognition that I recalled one day I was terrified seeing I could not even spell the word " word" , completely lost. Now I am almost 100% Canivor after being on keto for over 3 years, my physical and mental health has better than it was in my 20s ( i m 48 years old woman), my triglycerides is 35, my CRP which is a marker for systemic inflammation is 0.2, my blood pressure is absolutely normal, blood glucose is 4.8, my energy is sustained throughout the day, from 8am to 12am my brain still functions normally, my muscle mass increase without much excercise. I will never go back to plant based/ vegetarian diet, it simply is NOT a human appropriate diet. I hope everyone can do their own research thoroughly, and rethink their decision before following the plant based/ vegan movement.

  3. Really appreciate this video. You covered it all here. I’m inspired to make some changes, tweak my diet more to your recommendations. Your recommendation about learning dances is really a good one.

  4. Very Good information Dr. I'm from India. Over here also one Cardia. Doctor suggested us whole Plant based diet + Zero oil and no animal product. It's working very well on my husband. Thanks

  5. If keto diets get the weight off they will have the potential to reverse type 2 diabetes. As the Doctor says it’s all about energy excess. Keto reduces hunger dramatically making it easy to lose weight. After the weight has gone you can go more towards plant based.

  6. Have a lot of respect for Dr. Baxter Montgomery dedication in bringing his knowledge & wisdom in helping the community. He is an Inspirational and dedicated person that has committed himself in educating those of us that need to understand the value and ways of staying healthy and functional.
Thank you for having him on and the great questions that you put forward.

  7. When I watch plant based videos they make sense but the same can be said for keto videos. Both cite studies and anecdotal evidence. How can I be sure what diet is healthier for me?
