Hi I really enjoyed your video. I currently have a Pacific Parrotlet (male) and a Cinnamon conure (female). The conure wants to make friends with the Parrotlet but he does not. I recently, rescued another conure (unsexed, going to vet for DNA sexing this week) they both are very interested in meeting. The new bird is a baby of only 11 weeks old. Do you think I can have the 2 conures together free playing in their room? Supervised of course. Thanks!
I am so happy that most of my birds are not needy 😀
I really enjoyed this video. I can hear you and the individual parrots more distinctly from everything else/other birds further away. Really cool. This is what I was talking about before, makes soooo much difference, it's unbelievable. You're really nice with your parrots too.
I've been looking at various parrots, some that some people might categorize and beginner parrots, even though I don't really like that term for any parrot, but I was wondering if you could do a deep comparison and care/temperament etc between the parrotlet and a green cheek with the pros and cons of both.
My Caique is 100% needy
Two of my girls are VERY clingy with me. They are bonded with each other and their flock. If I am around they only have eyes for me. If I’m not around then my husband becomes the favored one. I adore my birds but this behavior concerns me. If someone else has to care for them they really become brats. Any ideas?
I had to put my GCC up yesterday when I was trying to do the dishes. That’s pretty much when he won’t stay on his tree or countertop perch. He was all over me and wouldn’t stay off. He so looks forward to his bath when I’m done. He doesn’t know the meaning of the word wait. 😆
Jejeje cute pet
