  2. Hi Kitty, I’m using a compounded T. I wish I could find a GYN or GP to prescribe FDA approved T but that’s like finding a needle in a hays stack! I tried 3 different ones already, 2 would not do it and the 3rd said my current dose is way too high (5mg/day) and I probably don’t need it but he said he would prescribe it at a much lower dose, so forget that! I’m honestly exhausted trying to find one. That’s why I’m sticking to compounded T through a functional Dr who has actually been incredibly receptive to what I ask for.

  3. I had such a great consultation with you so thank you. I wanted to ask you can testosterone make you lose your hair? I have lost so much already without using it.

  4. Super useful and interesting video 💛
I think testosterone is great, although I'm still affected by the sexist propaganda about us turning into hairy Hulks, despite my brain knowing that isn't true!

Yes, we are lucky to be able to ask for our hormones back. If we're lucky enough to get an educated and up to date prescriber, it's wonderful. Hopefully it will be the NORM before too long, she says, optimistically 😀

Can I ask if you have come across any info on testosterone improving low oestradiol levels in HRT users? I've heard a few people in my online groups reporting that their serum E has significantly increased after they added T to their HRT.

I've read that in the adrenals, testosterone will convert to oestrogen via aromatase if E is too low, but that's with endogenous E and T in premenopausal women. As HRT is exogenous supplementation, and the T is transdermal, can something similar still happen I wonder ? 🤔
Have you come across anything about that?

As always, thank you so much Kitty 😊xx

  5. My doctor dismissed me completely when I requested a prescription for testosterone gel. Any other suggestion of who would do so? This is so frustrating! 😢

  6. Kitty … I feel validated and frustrated by this information.
I have had several conversations with my practitioner about getting on Testosterone and each time, I felt like she was holding back.
My blood work shows that my Testosterone is in a higher range and so … come to find out … she is hesitant to prescribe any Testosterone at all. She's afraid that prescribing Testosterone to me when my numbers do not indicate that I need it, will jeopardize her career. And to that, she will never prescribe a mans pump, if she ever decides that I can be on Testosterone because that will "Red Flag" her in some way. (don't remember the term she used).
If she prescribes, it will be a custom cream that I will put on a few times a week on key spots on my body. When I questioned the "Custom Cream" … she assured me that it's created in a very reputable lab.

And so … she wants me to wait another month of the dose of Estradiol and Progesterone that I am currently on, (we've been doing a lot of tweaking) and then we will do another blood work to see where my Testosterone is at. Ugh!!! I respect her ethics and … I'm frustrated that I cannot get from her what I'm willing to experiment on for myself.

I'm not interested in finding another doctor … I really like this one and she's very easy to talk to and she's passionate about women's health however, she has boundaries that she's hesitant to cross.

Do I want to try to find a regular doctor who may not have any worries about prescribing a mans pump of Testosterone? IDK … !

  7. Testosterone at low dose is making my hair fall out for 4 years now. I have to get on either spironolactone or finasteride to stop it. Gyn now won't put anyone on testosterone unless they take either of those or DIM. I don't tolerate DIM. I tried lowering my testosterone and felt awful. These hormones have their own withdrawal syndrome. I was fine before . .. now stuck on something that is ruining my hair. Only on 1mg of t cream compound.

  8. Thank you so much Kitty for your video's, you are giving us imperative information. How many times have a tried to have a conversation with my Gyno about increasing my hormones since a hysterectomy at age 38???{had one ovary remaining} I can't count. I think it's why I have Interstitial cystitis, and Uti's. Plus, an autoimmune disease called Scleroderma, which came on at age 51. Just out of curiosity, why do I find I park my car crooked no matter what?? Someone told me it's an estradiol thing. I never did this before. Is it true????

  9. The system is not set up to provide an ongoing relationship with a doctor…and guidance and tracking results is extremely important. I am currently in a struggle to get my testosterone above the minimum .04 cream suspension. I was smart enough to get a baseline prior to beginning this treatment but only because I requested it. We shall see what happens but my menopause was surgical and that is the only reason I got a proper referral to a specialist. Prior to this my community clinic’s standard approach was to give menopausal women combination birth control for treatment of symptoms!

  10. Hi kitty. I tried to contact you via email, I am an A4M trained hormone NP in Ohio, and I share your videos with my patients.

I have a hard time prescribing the FDA approved commercially prepared estradiol and testosterone creams. They’re so expensive!! Divigel costs a patient $137 and generic testosterone was going to be over $300. I want to prescribe these products, but the costs pushes me to use compounded products. How do you get these commercial products affordably?

  11. Kitty I loved the intro. You look fantastic 😍. I want to be like you when I'm 64 . I love my Androfeme, it's made a world of difference in my sex life. Beautiful orgasms. I'm so pleased.
