Liberals Falsely Blame Tucker Carlson for Inspiring Buffalo Mass Shooter

Liberals are falsely blaming Fox News host Tucker Carlson for inspiring the Buffalo mass shooter who killed ten and wounded three others in an apparent racist attack. The alleged shooter who was taken into custody at the scene of the massacre–a Tops grocery store located in a Black neighborhood–is an 18-year-old white male according to police.

The shooter allegedly posted a livestream video of the attack as well as a manifesto with a tick-tock of his plan for the shooting that stated his goal of targeting and killing Black people and an explanation of how he became a racist.

Carlson and Fox were defended by conservative judicial activist Mike Davis, “Disgusting and insane that Democrat operatives are already exploiting the murder of 10 by blaming Tucker Carlson and Fox News. The manifesto cites the internet (specific websites) as his inspiration (not TV)—and has an antisemitic meme attacking Fox News.”

Davis posted screen images from the alleged manifesto that says the shooter was radicalized by racist Internet forums, making no mention of Tucker Carlson, Fox News (except for posting an anti-Semitic meme) or conservative media.

That has not stopped liberals from going on the attack.

Former Clinton White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart, “More blood on the hands of @tuckercarlson and @foxnews this killer used their racist talking points to justify killing 10 people. Carlson won’t stop because as he explained to the NYTimes, it’s good for ratings. Lives be damned. As Carlson will be at judgement day.”

HuffPo’s Philip Lewis, “he Buffalo shooter reportedly believed in the “great replacement theory,” a white nationalist conspiracy theory that Tucker Carlson has defended on his show”

Mother Jones’ Clara Jeffery, “10 People Killed in “Racially Motivated” Buffalo Shooting. White 18-yo drove for hours to massacre Black shoppers. This is where @TuckerCarlson⁩’s “replacement theory” rhetoric leads.”

Liberal activist Brian Tyler Cohen, “NEW: A mass shooter in Buffalo, NY who killed at least 10 people had posted a manifesto online espousing the White Replacement Theory, per @BNONews. White Replacement Theory has been long promoted and championed by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.”

Georgetown professor Don Moynihan, “The gunman who killed at least 10 people in Buffalo is a self-described white supremacist who advocates for the Great Replacement Theory. He left a manifesto. See if you can tell the difference between it and standard fare on the Tucker Carlson show”

Occupy Democrats, “BREAKING: FBI announces that they’re investigating today’s mass shooting in Buffalo as “racially motivated violent extremism.” The shooter left a manifesto citing Tucker Carlson’s “white replacement theory” as his motive. RT IF YOU THINK THAT
@TuckerCarlson MUST BE INVESTIGATED!”

Meidas Touch, “This is horrifying and it’s important to note: this is the rhetoric being broadcast by Tucker Carlson’s show on almost a nightly basis.”

Media Matters activist Nikki McCann Ramirez links to a MMfA report on Carlson, “This is still a developing story, but the reality is that the great replacement theory no longer lives in the fringes of extremist ideology, it was intentionally mainstreamed by some of the most prominent voices in American politics”

Never-Trumper Rick Wilson, “The Buffalo killer’s manifesto reads like a job application for a junior producer on Tucker Carlson. And no, I’m not being flippant.”

Former Obama official Brandon Friedman, “The Buffalo shooter was radicalized by an ideology propagated each day on Fox News, specifically by Tucker Carlson. This is how the White House treats Fox News.”

Hasan Piker, left wing activist with one million followers on Twitter, “the buffalo shooters manifesto reads like the average tucker carlson broadcast especially on “the great replacement theory” also known as “white genocide”
