  1. Hey guys! I doubt you remember this interaction, but I would be very appreciative if you would take the time to listen. Several months ago I made a comment regarding the current situation that growers in legal states (more particularly Oklahoma) face. More recently I researched the history behind the stigma surrounding cannabis and how that stigma is affecting new legislation. This was for a college class I took for this spring’s semester. If you would like to take a read or possibly use it as a reference, I would be more than happy to share it with you guys!

  2. Wow! He DISCUSSED it with SIX republicans!!!! WOWWWW!!!!!

    ……..

It might just be me. But I'm not impressed, at all. He's late. WAAAAY late. He wants this to fail. If he wanted it to pass, he'd have brought forth the bill for MEDICAL marijuana that was less than a couple of pages long. You know, medical marijuana, that thing that NINETY FIVE percent of Americans support and DESERVE to know where their lawmakers stand on the issue?

But, even if he DID have the republicans he needed to pass this, Manchin would vote against it, because that's HIS JOB…..

  3. 17:17 in response to that message about someone's wife stopping using MMJ because she's breastfeeding
. . Look up the Jamaican study on pregnant and breastfeeding women using cannabis

  4. How does Rhode Island have 60 medical cannabis licenses when Minnesota only has 2???? Minnesota has a slight chance of legalizing recreational this year but I think it would be more likely after the midterms. Our Governor unveiled his plans for legalization on 4/20 and our state house of representatives has passed a legalization measure but the state senate is currently held by the GOP who won't even bring it up for a vote.

  5. Psychedelic are a schedule 1 drug.. Not a narcotic. Remove all schedule 1 drug from being enforced. Stop overdosing people with schedule 2 and blaming on a schedule 1. It's propaganda the system can use to mask their long term intentions.

  6. 20:50 Remember demo fails? Boy do I. As a software developer it is a curse you live with: demos always fail. They work perfectly back at the office. No problem in every test. Set up the demo and bring in the audience and bam, blue screen of death.

I worked at a cutting edge multi-media software company in the early 90s. We made interactive video, touch screen software for the IBM Infowindow hardware for a major corporation. The big boss asked us for a demo for a gathering of bigger bosses. We freaked out. I programmed the demo and tested it until I was sick of it. Gave the boss man multiple redundant controls to make sure he couldn't get stuck, could backtrack if needed and even choose slides from a menu.

But that wasn't enough. We had a professional photographer shoot every slide to make a non-interactive backup demo slide show. We brought redundant hardware to run it. Extra everything. It's the only way to dodge the curse.

The demo went off perfectly and was so impressive that the professional presentation makers brought in by the other execs wanted to know how we did it. No one knew how much we had worried.

  7. 7:14 Miggy, looking at that graphic, it is divided into 4 groups of states, colored for 2 categories of legalization. States in green are going for medical, states in gold going for adult use. The four groups are
Expected : only Rhode Island for adult use🤩
Possible: South Carolina, North Carolina and Kansas for medical, Delaware (Hey there Biden) for adult use.
Worth watching: Pennsylvania for adult use.
Little chance: Minnesota (that's kinda spendy eh?) and New Hampshire 😪both for adult use.

Minnesota currently only has medical and apparently just got flower.

  8. “Why are you bothering with republicans”

Because they comprise the other half of the country. And if you want to get anything done, you need at least a handful of them on board. That tribal mindset is why we sit here and spin our wheels.
