  26. Amy, where do you get these statistics? Where were you when the US killed millions in Iraq and Afghanistan? If 600 people were killed in the Theatre, where are the dead bodies? Did you visit Ukraine? When Russia invaded on 24 February, all the shows in theatres and cinemas were canceled. Do not parrot US-sponsored journalists' propaganda. The US military hardware will NOT reach Ukraine. Russia is not stupid to allow this equipment to reach Ukraine. They will bomb the railways, bridges, and equipment. They have already started this destruction. Even if they reach Ukraine, their army is not capable of using them without intense training. If Russia finds out that they are being operated by American soldiers/mercenaries they will kill them.

    Please do not perpetuate wrong facts without checking the validity of the facts. Mr. Lezensky is a moron. He is a comedian, not a politician. He is letting his people die before the Russian superior army for his glory instead of negotiating an amicable peace. He has got blood on his hand. Russia will never lose this war and Ukraine will never win this war except that millions will die and be displaced.

The reason Roe v Wade is being overturned, why we have, yet, another war, a proxy one that will certainly escalate into WW3, this one being the war to end all war as well as all life on earth, and why we'll never have any of Bernie's espoused goodies, is that we do not live in a Democracy. Pure and simple. Take an honest poll. Most people want what Bernie said he was for. Most people believe abortion is a person's own business. Most people don't want war, but want a negotiated peace. But since when is the US about the will of the people? Our elections are selections and our Bill of Rights is being torn to shreds. People need to see our country for what it is, "The land of the thief and the home of the slave." And it's US Corporations that are our dictators and which are bound and determined to dictate to the whole world. So Russia, you'd better hup to or else.

  28. Since when is Democracy Now independent global news. It's been co-opted by the CIA and the US State Department. Wait til you see the State Department stooges on tomorrow's show. I would hope Democracy Now would be a voice for sanity, for negotiating a peace in the Ukraine. But no. They showcase the "Russia's bad, keep the war going, Ukraine can win this," voices on. You know, the ones that will lead us straight to nuclear war. Thanks for having Medea Benjamin on for 2 seconds between your Quincy Institute stooges.

  29. Attack on Roe vs. Wade is injustice committed by SCOTUS…that happens when we have Judges chosen for life and chosen by political parties instead elected by people. We need to overhaul our Constitution…it is anachronism…totally out of touch with today's reality. WE have fascists in our Supreme court who answer only to their party, not the interest of people. Something like right on abortion should be decided by referendum, not by any political party. That would be democracy.
