  1. Why are the only people who come on to talk about feminism, only seem to really want to attack feminism, because it's not foregrounding other issues enough? Whether it may abolition or race or whatever. Feminism is failing because instead of uniting to actually demand change – women are just attacking feminism because other women's "brand" of feminism, does not spotlight one other particular issues enough for their liking. I am anti-racist to the core. But nobody would ever go onto a segment about anti-racism and try to attack the movement and bring it down, for not centring women's issues enough. That's fucking crazy. Yes, all issues are interelated and intersectionality is very important – no doubt. And black women's experiences should be at the forefront of both the feminist and anti-racist movement, as they suffer intersectional abuse and prejudice. Black women have not been centred enough by either movement and this MUST change.

But most of the feminist movement is NOT inherently racist (I know certain elements of it are – mostly historical), so why is the conversation just CONTINUOUSLY the women's movement being attacked for this.

1 out of 3 women will suffer DV or SV in their lives and yet people are sitting around pontificating "my feminism is superior to your feminism". It's detracting massively from the women's movement at this stage, and I'm SICK of it. They are rolling back Roe vs. Wade as we speak, and we're pontificating about which particular type of feminism is the most intellectually ideal, instead of taking to the streets like other minority movements do.

Nobody is highlighting the issues affecting women. Nobody even IS actually a feminist anymore. Because one particular brand of feminism does not fit X/Y/Z criteria enough for X/Y/Z's liking. Ironically, the only people actually TAKING ACTION in the name of women's issues are TERFs, and they're not even real feminists. EVERY movement for justice deserves its causes to be heard. You can't invalidate one because it is not championing another enough.

Not that problem of intersectionality should not be addressed. But I ONLY hear about "how feminism is not XYZ enough" nowadays and never about the actual merits of being a feminist or what feminism actually is. No wonder most women don't want to associate themselves with feminism. And meanwhile the right is rolling back women's rights in such a deep and fundamental way, and the only thing that gets "centred" is that the women's movement, historically, wasn't inclusive enough. Many of these women were undoubtedly racist. Which is henious. And this should undoubtedly be part of the conversation. But this is not the majority of women in the current women's movement and should not form 90% of the conversation about feminism by the left.

MR is well meaning, but they are contributing to this.

Left is best… But how can you shit on Elon Musk with a straight face as he's actively pushing the world to sustainable energy by making amazing batteries that last for millions of miles while removing gas cars… I don't get it (all else being equal, the real only way to change people's actions is to sell them a product that's better for the environment)
