  1. Dude, I loved planning my wedding. We did Halloween theme and I attacked it as if I didn't care what anyone else thought. Because I didn't. It's my party. My husband demanded the ceremony, I demanded the party. Costumes were encouraged, but not mandatory. Wedding party could do whatever they wanted, no theme for them. Everyone had a blast. I still get people telling me it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to. And I agree. We also had delicious food. I only looked at websites to help figure out more details. What I liked/didn't like. But I had no issue thinking I "needed" anything. Or that I "shouldn't" do something. I get how people feel that way, but I don't have a problem with doing my own thing. Never have.

  2. Public policy concerning labor unions has, in little more than a century, moved from one extreme to the other. From a state in which little the unions could do was legal if they were not prohibited altogether, we now have reached a state where they have become uniquely privileged institutions to which the general rules of law do not apply.

  3. I don't get how it can be important who joins a broken system. It's important that a woman of color break another wall down, but it's completely irrelevant what she does after she join because the system is fundamentally broken. Something is just horrible wrong with a law system where a judges political orientation decide the outcome of cases. I'm fairly sure that is not normal of democratic systems. I don't think it's possible for the juridical system to decide if abortion is legal or not in my country. No matter the judges political orientation, you will always get the same ruling.

There is ONLY one group of people that should decide if abortion is legal or illegal in a country and that is the lawmakers.

  4. I live in Oklahoma and I’m so ashamed of the typical chant about how we in Oklahoma practice “the Oklahoma Standard” as if we are truly a caring state! The politicians have ruined EVERYTHING! And they’ve pulled the wool over so many of our citizen’s eyes! Makes me sick that Stitt for brains is still there to push whatever agenda he thinks will boost his political career! I wish this nightmare would END!

  5. so let me get this straight. government can force you to get a covid test from a private company but it’s not okay for “pregnant people” or “trans women” and “trans men” to prove they’re not pregnant?

government has control over your body or it doesn’t. pick one.

  6. Yes to cooking and painting while I have silly shows on. Love cooking with America’s Test Kitchen and a few other favorites. With sketching /painting it’s Acorn network, shows like Agatha Raisin. Several good watercolor teachers on YouTube, love a few gardening shows too. 🌿 This is how I temper the political commentary, horrific news and scary Republicans stuff. Love this podcast.

  7. Actually there are lots of woman that only have sex with other women AND organize a pregnancy!
Being LOUD often just means……i always SCREEM to overcompensate my ignorance….!
    So sad 💔

  8. After my shitty week, it's a joy to listen to you break down the wider shitty week. If I were queen of the world, I'd appoint you as co-queens of the world and give up my crown. Then I'd take a nap every day and take long walks. Thank you.

  9. Erin Ryan I'm tired of paying senators for doing NOTHING other than obstructing growth and paying attention to reality and the population of this country. They are out of touch. Surprice, Rich Scott is a medicare crook.
