Any news on if J. Hunter will be full speed come September? That could be a very solid 1, 2, 3 punch in the backfield with Tank, Hunter, and Jackson. I think this team has the talent and the coaching to surprise some people, just got to buy in and put in the work. Excited for these men!
One thing about Geriner that is noticeable in this video is that he threw it to the first read every time. He has a very good skill set, but I hope this doesn't mean that it is like the old Malzahn "you got one read and then run" style. He is young and I get that, just something that I noticed. I know the coaches have probably already noticed and are trying to get him to correct and to get him comfortable in the system. I think we have a real QB competition on our hands and Calzada will probably be bringing that much more pressure as well. WDE!!

Ashford is QB 1 tj lost his slot ! After 2 years he shoulda had a quick and easy day, ashford showed he should be the starter
I like all of the QB’s they all bring something different to the table. The freshman is quick with his reads. Not sure if that was by design but I love it.
Geriner should’ve hit the running back for the two point conversion. Freshman mistake but other than that, he’s pretty descent. Ashford looks really good to still be raw and new to the system. This will be an interesting summer and fall.

I thought the mobility of Ashford was incredible, and Holden's accuracy was on point. They could be QB #1 & #2 in the Fall.

If Finley is the guy, he should have solidified it last season, especially vs Houston. But I dont see much improvement this spring. IMO theres a 3 way race for the starter. The competition is a great thing to see! If I had to bet, I'd say Calzada starts more games with Ashford in the 2 spot.
