We have wild sumac all over the northwoods in Minnesota and its so beautiful and brilliant red-orange flower spikes that make a super nutritious red lemonade which we drink ice cold without sugar and it's very tart and refreshing and full of vitamin C and A . It tastes almost identical to Red Zinger tea .
    And you can make za' atar with sumac too .
