I was a tiler for 8 years and last year decided to build a house with the grants from the bandemic and dumped it just recently, before the prices went up I checked all prices of mesh concrete cement all timber and got in just before local supplier announced 40 percent hike in all things lol. I was good mates with da builder and most of the trades being small town and cut costs and made fair profit. Only way to make decent money on building one is if you know them so they don’t chuck 12 percent on every tradie that comes through, that’s how they make there money. And people recently gettin out 500k loans and by rates going up will force you to pay back more as house price is declining at same time which you’ll end up paying more off your loan and selling it at a loss bc you need money bc it’s all in the house and prices are low and your scared, this drop will be targeted at millennials

7. Im a tradie what would you recommend we do about knowing if the builders we work for have all the cash there? talking the builders dont help cause who knows if they are telling the truth.
