I think the Hop-On – Hop-Off bus is a GREAT introduction to the city to help you get "Grounded" & THEN I go walk around. As a solo & older (65 years YOUNG) traveler – it helps me feel safer.

Mexico City is known for its important Aztec history, the floating gardens of the Xochimilco area, and well over 100 museums, including the Anthropology Museum and the Frida Kahlo house. As one of the oldest cities in North America, it's also home to traditional Mexican culture and spicy food.
As a mexican, I really appreciate your sincere love and admiration for Mexico City and its vibe and personality, but now I would like to know what is your personal opinion about gentrification phenomenon, mostly on colonias like Condesa, Roma, Juarez, Cuauhtémoc, San Rafael and Santa Maria la Ribera. I think that knowing your perspective will give us as Mexico City’s neighbors a more wide vision of what its happening in our city.
