In 2019, Google parent, Alphabet Inc, terminated the employment of two software engineers, Laurence Berland and Rebecca Rivers, in a move that sparked company-wide protests and accusations of retaliation for the pair’s efforts to organize their workplace. On Wednesday the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) announced that it had approved a proposed settlement between the…

Wow very very interesting topic. Greetings from Chile Yuya. Saludos!
The world would be a better place if everyone had weed.
Marijuana is legal where I live for both recreational and medical use. Medical strains are much stronger than recreational strains but it still gets you high either way 😂
All these different topics you're sharing. Like a neat chat over coffee, sitting around with no demands. Thanks!!! 🥰
I heard that cannabis grows in the forests in Hokkaido, the people in the country-side use it all the time, but it's usually the really remote villages
Very interesting, thank you for covering this topic for me! 😀
Now I know that when I get to visit Japan, definitely do not smoke when I am over there!
You the best Yuya!
I believe that governments criminalized/ banned weed because it can help people. If they let people grow it and use it, medicine companies wouldn't make any money. Our governmemts want to keep us sick, depressed and dependant on them. That also carries over to gov banning Christianity. If you have hope in God, then the government has no power to scare and/or control you. Much love🤗
I don't mind if they legalize weed but I don't care for weed after the man times I was almost run over by guys and girls driving cars high and their whole attitude is that I was in the way when I confronted them about it lol.
Excellent viseo Yuyasan
(Hope spelling and use of word is correct)🤔
I really thonk you have done a hreat job of explaing how it works in Japan whwn it comes to the use or purchase of The Great MaryJane.
Thanks again for sharing👍your subscriber from Oregon
Its really amazing to see how relaxed my culture is to others. Cannabis is illegal here but you wouldn't go to jail for it. Mostly a fine i think and sent home.
Sounds like it's taboo due to aggressive US pressure. Which is kinda funny in a not funny way as the US moves closer and closer to legalizing it.
A few interesting things about drugs amphetamines (meth) in Japan:
They are considered less illegal than other drugs in Japan, that is being high on meth isn't illegal while possession is illegal.
The reason is because the wartime government gave them, first to soldiers then later to civilians causing an addiction epidemic lasting long after peace broke.
The amphetamine pills were produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and had the 3 triangle logo stamped on every pill. Americans brought them back. They called them bennys.
The Mitsubishi logo became so synonymous with drugs in America they were later printed on LSD (acid) tabs in the 60's. To this day ecstasy pills are still stamped with the Mitsubishi logo.
Gangs were known to use the Mitsubishi logo. There are probably a few that still do.
I really enjoyed this video. I enjoy historical facts of all kinds.
Very interesting. I love learning about Japanese culture. Amazing how war changed so much through history.
Never used weed myself, had a buddy who used to smoke it he said it made watching anime even more enjoyable, he even thought it was helping him learn to speak Japanese, then I visited him one day and pointed out he was watching English dubbed anime.😂

It's much the same story in the US. American timber business was trying to pivot from building materials to paper in early 20th century since steel was becoming more common as a building material, but hemp fiber made cheaper paper that was just as good as wood-pulp paper; so, the leaders in the timber industry started propaganda about how evil cannabis was (partially by pointing out that Mexicans were known to use it, appealing to the much more open racism at the time) and finally got it banned.
Covering interesting topics Yuya ✌🏽❤️
Ah those annoying muricans with their corporate laws again
Also, check out about all the support Japan has been sending over to Ukraine 🇺🇦 👏 🙌 ohhh and also about the "Killing Stone" that might be very interesting to speak on
Weed is actually great for treating many things, just make sure your getting JUST weed and not laced IF your buying from your "local street pharmacy" 😉😉 but Delta 8 is just as good if you're able to buy from the shops 😉…. weed is a natural growing plant, so I don't understand why the regulated it other than of course because government wasn't getting money from it…. Indigenous people use it, hemp, and even opium for years before Europeans came to America.
I have a friend in Japan that ordered some marijuana product called HHC and he says he gets pretty high off it. He isn't arrested yet.
