I live in Virginia. Until legalization here you got 5 years mandatory minimum up to 30 years for growing any amount of plants. I had 2 friends that served 5 years for growing. So legalization did help people like myself and other Virginians. I can't believe I risked so much for over 20 years! DGC fuckin ROCKS!!!

The legal cannabis industry is rigged because the American legal system is rigged. Lobbying is legal, money talks. The limit of dispensaries is basically companies monopolizing and limiting competition, which should be illegal, and it is not helpful for the community that those stores are supposed to serve. Companies are getting new stores out of thin air, but it is obvious that there are some wheels getting oiled behind the scenes. It is crazy how corrupt politicians are, we all know it, yet we don’t do a damn thing about it besides elect a crazy guy who ended up being grossly corrupt and the guy fixed nothing and left us more damaged and divided. End of rant.
Hope the industry properly regulates while allowing a free enough market to create proper competition and supply so that the prices will lower. Pardon my profanity, but this medicine is too fucking expensive to be used legally as much as it should be used to get the desired relief for chronic conditions.
