  1. Well 5 days later and all that John said is completely wrong this time: Ukrainian military is fithing bravely and has not collapsed. Russian military much bigger losses/problems than though. Russian stocks are basically all 0 (gazprom -90% for the week in London before trading was stpped, Sberbank -98.5% for the week). The West does not leave Uukraine alone, but supports with lots of weapons and intelligence. Russia excluded from Swift and much harder sanctions than ever before. Russian economy not prepared for that in complete freefall.
There is propaganda on both sides, but one should not equalize that. Russian lies and propaganda has been around for a long time and is completely gaslighting the truth to its own people (not a war just a special opeartion, we do not hit civilian targets) and the world. There was propaganda in WW2 on both sides, but putting Hitler on a level with the allies is a wrong as saying Putin and the West both made mistakes. This war is cruel and anti democratic, anti US, anti Europe and simply democracy and freeedom againt an evil dictator.
My view has nothing to do with the market (John is right there), but it needed to be said

  2. John, I tried to subscribe on your AI site but when I click on subscribe or on contact pages, It just says 'There has been a critical error on this website.

Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.'. Are you aware of any problem on the site?

  3. Hi Im new here for some reason i cannot get to your web page or to your subscritption page…i get some sort of WordPage erros? never had this happen…do i need to do something on my computer? thanks for all

  4. One of the few Americans who has a balanced perspective 👍

Also, not sure what you mean when you say risk-averse. My understanding of the term is that the most risk-averse is the one most reluctant to take risk, clearly not the type to be interested in Russian stocks now.

  5. Best wishes to your family and hope their outcome will be good. Thats the most important thing. Impressed that you can bring us content this time around. No problem showing all sides of issues. Everyone needs to make their own determination. You are the most starkly honest person around and should not offer apologies. Nothing ever sugar coated or slanted.

  6. Always interesting to listen too, but I always get the impression that John's echo chamber is just as restricted as those he likes to criticise. I'm not as confident as John is that this whole carnage will unfurl as favourable to Putin as he thinks. John has an opinion of the EU as being impotent delusional pinkos, which in some senses we are, but it's not the whole
story. Europe has a long history of feeling war in the flesh, and the news that the Germans are now prepared to move arms into the Ukraine is not a sign that Europe is going to diverge in stance – something that Putin needs to happen. And China look after themselves first and foremost, not Russia. Putin's a dangerous man who will ultimately be backed into corner……..that's when you have to worry. John talks about the Uki Gov not preparing properly, well the same is true of Russia – only for Putin, for all his military planning and power, he hasn't prepared the Russian population for a venture that expresses his distorted sense of reality. The population are gong to get hit really hard.

  7. I would consider myself a moderately right wing nationalist but I can't see what a love for own culture and country has to do with national socialism.. Countries with authoritarian central planners who view the citizens like a collective subject are socialists not right wing!

  8. John & Anybody – is thera a chance of possible delisting of Russian stocks from (for example) London stock exchange as some potential (currently theoretical) sanction measure? How probably is something like that?

What is the real upside of uranium until 2023?
I dont see more than 100% upside but i dont know anything i only have seen failed expectations of paid gurús.
That is why facts and reality is merciless.
I would like you to give me your honest opinión about this failed justin expectation and your view of real upside of equities in your opinión.
You are different because people dont pay to you.

  10. Your dedication is impressive, John! Best wishes to your wife and her family, hoping this ugliness blows over sooner rather than later

  11. Great episode as always. Sorry to hear about you’re wife, that she is stuck in Ukraine. I wish you and you’re family a swift and safe reunion John! Best wishes David, Stockholm

  12. 1. Zelensky is a Jew, not a neo-nazi.
    2. Ukrainian command and control has not broken down at all. Fully intact and receiving western help.
    3. Russia has performed extremely poorly thus far. Frankly, they're getting stomped.
    4. They've already implemented swift sanctions.

  13. All you say makes sense. There are only two decisions for the investor who even consider entering this craziness. How much someone can lose without compromising his/her overall portfolio will define the sizing. Thanks for the info. I hope your family is well.

  14. Thank you John for your video. Prayers for the safety and well being of your wife and family. Also thanks for the historical info on Ukraine, it was very informative. Most people in the West probably don't know any history of the region.

  15. And now I read that the West is going to kick out some Russian banks out of SWIFT. What the fuck are they thinking??? So they do actually declare war on Russia now. Which means, they actually want nuclear war. This is insane….

  16. That was great perspective on Russia-Ukraine. I bought in my first tranche a day ahead of the invasion not expecting what unfolded and since added two more small tranches. Don't feel good about Putin's unpredictability but love the potential of the Russian economy
