Spurs should never be used to kick or used to teach a concept. People like him use them for intimidation. Just like with any tool, it can be used for pain, but otherwise it's just a tool.
I always introduce a spur from the ground, and only use them for cues since I'm short. Never should be used on young, green broke, or mishandled horses.

I don’t like his tactics at all but you come off as fake. My aunt has been a vet for 27 yrs I let her watch some of your videos and she thinks you’re a fraud.
Ok I don’t understand what this man is trying to do. He’s kicking the horse with spurs when it’s stuck in one spot?! Like what the hell. He doesn’t deserve a horse and he should of trained his dogs to be calm around a horse.
We take spurs off if our horses show any discomfort, Or if I feel like I or anyone riding for/with me cant control their lower leg enough to keeps their spurs off the spurs immediately come off.
So clearly this guy knows absolutely nothing about horses. The pony’s hooves are so over grown they are starting to curl up! Bruh if you own a horse and not even know to get a farrier you obviously know nothing about horses. The environment is gross too!
What about spures made out of something else like leather or wood surrounded by pillow?

Okay I was hesitant to watch this because I know I’d laugh the whole time but I’m laughing at him and also disgusted by his ghetto ass and his gun in the ring with the horse. That to me is NOT okay because he’s representing to others that it’s cool to have a gun inside their ass rather then holstered properly. He really shouldn’t own any weapons and any animals.
