  1. Once I started taking vitamind D3 and K2 6 months ago my symptoms improved signicantly. I currently take 5,000 IU of D3 and feel like I am now returning to normal. On a side note, I have an automine disease and suffered with chronic debilitating joint pain for 10 years after a catching a previous virus in 2012. I saw several doctors rheumatologists, immunologists etc and they were never successful at treating my condition. After getting Covid I am back my pre 2012 self, it's like my immune system has gone through some sort of a beneficial reset.

  2. Do I have to take vitamin K2/Mnk7 and calcium with vitamin D 3? Or can i just take vitamin D 3 by itself and get the other stuff from food. I care most to boost vitamin D. But I don't want to hurt myself in the long run. Doing 2000 a day for now

  3. It could be correct but didn’t help me. Been on Vitamin D for years. I have Lupus, RA, Fibro and AFS. Got Covid May 2022. Now 10months later suffering from LongCovid and now have Covid again. I have tried EVERYTHING even FLCCC Protocol. Nothing working for me. Most days I just want to die.

  4. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

  5. My long covid symptoms after 22 months seem to be localized in my brain. (Brain fog, tinnitus, anxiety and moods). Perhaps the described mechanism found in the intestines can also occur in the brain, CNS. – Definitely experienced incremental improvement over 3 vaccines… Also, I started taking Vitamin D3 about a year ago in larger doses (10,000IUday) due to lack of sun exposure, but haven't noticed much improvement in long covid symptoms. I think D3 levels need to be present prior to infection, but do little after the damage is done… Did however develop better mood and sleep due to D3 as well as a general sense of well-being… Important to note that in order to 'activate' D3 one must also take magnesium. K2 should also be taken to control calcium levels in the blood.

  6. Somewhere I saw a recent study published in the journal, Gut, that observed that long Covid patients had a dysfunctional gut microbiome compared to normal patients. 136 subjects total, 68 long covid. Wonder how it all relates.

  7. At this point the CDC and FDA are useless. The info about D3 has been available for a long time but all we hear about is line up for your injection. The FDA making waves about banning NAC also. The corruption with gov+pharma is terrible.

  8. There's been quite a bit of research that suggests vitamin D levels and glutathione levels play a role in covid severity in hospitalized patients since early on in the pandemic. I eat broccoli sprouts, take NAC and 7-10k ius of vitamin D in winter, (5k in spring and fall and 2k in summer) in hopes of decreasing the severity of the infection when I do contract it. There are many good doctors like Dr Sheeult, Dr Campbell, Dr MoBeen and several others lifestyle doctors that have encouraged everyone to be aware of the role these substances play in the immune system and the body's ability to clear the virus.

  9. So you have a girl with long lasting covid who happens to be low in vitamin D but nothing to connect the two…. So … nothing…. Sort of…

By itself this information is almost useless

BUT….As a person who had sudden onset diabetes with a A1C of 12 and sugar above 400 for 2 months and A1c now at 5.2 and ave sugar @ 100 I studied the relationship vit D has with the immune system and I can see a correlation.

I have maintained a vitamin regiment and fairly healthy high protein diet since prior to covid announcement and until last week have never been sick except for my normal allergy sinus problems for which I take loratadine when needed.
I also have type O+ blood and noticed none of my friends or family got covid until omicron which may be what I have but I have no available test and what difference would it make when there is no specific treatment.

Symptoms started the same as my allergies on a cold day after going outside, last 2 days and then was almost gone for 2 days except for a tiny throat itch and then hit back like a freaking sledge hammer mostly sinus the next day with extreme sinus problems coughinh and additional stomach “fullness” with some intermittent slight nausea which has lasted 4 days.
Cough drips are almost useless and doubling loratadine with “afrin” @ q 7-8hrs is the only thing which almost completely stops the coughing and allows some peace.

    I normally take k2 D3 125mcg/ 90mcg qd along with mag malate, zinc/copper, b12, B6 but I raised the D x3 today and I’m going to see what happens.

I also sip pickle juice especially with workouts normally and it made a big difference in my sore throat more than throat lozenges initially but after this bug hit back it seems useless.

    This is one interesting bug.

For the record I have never been tested and where mandatory only wear standard medical mask and sometime m95 as either I already had them or they are free.

If cloth masks worked I would have used them during my 30 yrs as a medic so the cloth mask option was obviously a “do something feel good measure” by politicians to stifle fear and save medical masks for medical people.

History may tell the truth about covid but we may never know

BTW I live alone and don’t spend much time with anyone except every 2 weeks I interact with my grand daughter and everyone in her house except her got covid over a period of a month and 1/2….. All I can say is… That sucks…. She is 4 and just has her normal allergy sniffles so far.

  10. Most people in the ICU have VitD levels below 20 ngml… clinical trials says if your a senior and have respieritory infections and VitD levels are below 25 ngml your chance of a bad outcomes increases tremendously..

  11. Dear Dr. Seheult, a vaccination in this situation could lead to tragical consequences I am afraid. I am saying this by experience. And since you tought us that it takes 4-5 weeks untill vitamin D3 gets into and reaches necessary level in cells, and it was so in practice, nothing else would help the girl than alternative medicine and anti inflammatory medicine e.g. prednisolone?

  12. Living here in the Pacific Northwest under heavy clouds all winter. I have been taking D3+K in Coconut oil. Just because of the poor sunlight good to know it can help with Covid complications

  13. Dr Campbell has been talking about vitamin D on his channel for 2 years. I have been taking supplemental Vitamin D each winter and trying to get summer sun. New York is more southerly than where I am at 50 degrees north.

  14. In Italy some doctors are trying to explain how to cure Covid 19, by killing the intestinal flora with antibiotics and prevents the virus to multyplay and make worst the infection, for over a year now.

  15. i am so blessed that i started taking vitamin D3 even before Covid was declared a pandemic by the WHO, Dr.Chris Martenson of Peak Prosperity advised his subscribers of an impending pandemic,,before the WHO,,,to wear mask,,eat well protect ourselves .,,along with vitamin D3 .which was crucial,,,,vitamin C. ,Zinc, elderberry and a few other vitamins,,,,sad that something like vitamin D3 which is easily obtained was not promoted …in the United States ,,that to was suspect!!!

  16. I was definitely infected with SARS-CoV-2 in January/February 2020 (Anosmia) and suffered long-COVID until May of 2020 when the first mention of Vitamin D3 deficiency was associated with poor outcomes and increased severity.

I began taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily for 14 days, and reduced it to 4,000 IU daily. After ~30 days, the symptoms (nausea, watery stool/excess bile, brain fog and fatigue) began to ease and finally diminished in the 2nd week of June 2020.

Since September of 2021, I have taken 2,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily, and plan to continue until May/June 2022 when my sun exposure level will again increase.

I was recently exposed to the both the Delta and Omicron variants (6 weeks ago and again last week – respectively.) Both times, I had a rather mild case of infection, and had a similar flare up of the nausea, excess bile in stool, and dizziness and only mild fatigue. Increasing my vitamin D3 from 2,000 IU to 4,000 IU daily has begun to minimize the nausea and dizziness.
