KC Stadium Loudly Sings National Anthem After Artist Has Microphone Issues (VIDEO)
An incredible moment happened today in Kansas City when the mic failed during the National Anthem at the Chiefs vs Bengals playoff game in Arrowhead Stadium.
Ashanti’s microphone was not functioning properly when she was singing the National Anthem before Sunday’s AFC championship game. The Grammy Award-winning artist’s mic was cutting in and out. That’s when the audience began singing loud enough for all to hear!
SI reported:
As the National Anthem began, it was clear that Ashanti’s microphone was not functioning properly, cutting in and out as she progressed through the anthem.
The microphone issues led to an unexpected beautiful moment, as the Chiefs faithful began belting out the National Anthem, assisting Ashanti as her microphone faltered.

I feel so bad @ashanti had to deal with microphone issues during the National Anthem. 😬
But, the crowd in KC understood the assignment and sang along. #AFCChampionship #CINvsKC #NFL pic.twitter.com/uG0pj9ajN5

Unfortunately for Kansas City, the Cincinnati Bengals are heading to the Super Bowl. The Bengals are heading to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1988 and will face the winner of the NFC Championship game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI, NFL reported.
