  1. He is a charlatan. He makes numerous false statements, such as claiming immigration of tens of millions over the last decade, ignoring the fact that hospitals and care homes could not function without foreign staff, and claiming that the housing crisis is due to immigration alone. He lies in order to support his agenda. (FWIW I oppose current levels of immigration.) The housing shortage is due to an aging population, more people living on their own, and yes immigration. Immigration is ine of many causes. He also pretends to be an intellectual by referring to the Englightenment, which he totally misunderstands. It wasn’t about physical pleasure. It was about a range of ideas, including happiness, finding truth through the use of reason, and concepts such as liberty, progress and tolerance. Oh, and is he paid every time he says the word ‘paradigm’? Or is he just trying to sound clever? I’m sure he said it more than a hundred times. He is the perfect example of someone on the extreme right/left, selecting facts, distorting truth and just making things up to support his arguments.

  2. They're 'keeping the gates open' in order to keep house prices high. They can't afford another negative equity situation similar to what occured in the 90s.

Whilst this might benefit the Tories and their donors. It also benefits the leftists. As they get to bring in people who will target their enemies; the 'greedy CEOs and bankers' and the '1%'.

  3. Immigration isnt such a complicated issue, keep it in control, it has lots of benefits, done badly it actually hurts us all (remember the kids of immigrants like me dont see ourselves as immigrants any more). Love the free speech/challenges/etc keep these debates going!

  4. Capitalism: n. 1. Selling resources and skills available to you that others need for resources and skills that others have that you need.

  5. But immigrants who come with visas are the useful ones – they speak well, are professionals etc but the ones who come illegally are extremely poor and will rely on welfare.

  6. Carl is a firebrand and often frames things in an incredibly negative and frankly unfair way.

Despite that, I watch the vast majority of his videos. The man has a lot of extremely good points. He also covers things that both absolutely are real news, and that the mainstream media is usually all too happy to bury.

  7. When you allow the top people from 3rd world countries to emigrate, you are making their home countries a little worse, a little more shithole, whilst improving your own at their expense, and enabling more emigrants!!!

  8. On the point of needing immigration because of an ageing population. Firstly, immigration overall is a cost to the tax payer, it doesn't pay for an ageing population. Additionally, one of the reasons for an ageing population is younger people delaying or avoiding having children because if low wages and high living costs, a lot of which is driven by immigration.

  9. The thing which really boils my blood is this excuse that we need to import thousands of people from abroad and for some reason from the 3rd world, because we have "an aging population"… How about the government introduce incentives and benefits for the people here to have more kids in a stable family environment, i.e. married or civil partnership equivalent with BOTH parents. Same goes for sectors in this country reliant on foreign labour, introduce incentives, bursaries and loans to assist and encourage British people to take those jobs. Don't get me wrong, even with these measures, its will still take at least a generation to fix the mess successive governments from both main parties have created.

As for the NHS, if my civil liberties and right must be restricted by an authoritarian nanny state so it doesn't collapse every winter then its not worth having! I am firmly of the opinion it needs reform from top to bottom, or people should be given the choice to not pay NI and rely on private services instead. A thing I would personally prefer. I pay about £150 in NI each month, where as if I took on the most expensive private healthcare plan from BUPA I would be paying £64.75 instead… With a far superior and more reliable service than that failing cash vampire our political and media elite treat as the modern state religion. I saw something a while back, for 1 year of current NHS funding we could build, crew and maintain 58 aircraft carriers! People want to know where so much of our armed services and other public service budgets have gone, well there you have it! Our "holy NHS" has syphoned it off, only to be p*ssed up the wall or funnelled in to diversity commissar posts and programmes… Along with the BBC, defund or reform the NHS.

  10. I’m surprised you interview Benjamin given that he is on the far right and frankly a seriously nasty piece of work. There is something wrong with him, a lack of empathy, narcissism perhaps. I could understand this if you interviewed people on the far left, but you don’t. Are you moving to the far right? I hope not.

  11. as always, underlying the discussion are wordlviews, and underlying the worldviews are plato and jesus christ on one side, and a raft of shit on the other side

  12. India has 1.2billion people. We can confidently say a quarter of them would live in UK if given the chance. That is 300 million. Then we would not be British. Obviously this is an example. We need to reassert in a realistic way what it is to be British, value it and keep it or we will have nothing.

  13. For those who are in S. T. E. M, who constantly need to be into the books and keep up with the subject, therefore the society direction of travel, panic of the day or week, the mores and alike are not know, so they cannot be looked into and thoughts into it, let's say bham is being swept by those who we dare not talk of,
    Not the following
Christians, Sikh, hindu, jain, Buddhist, jedi, who get on well together,

Ask yourself who can purchase a house with cash, a specific demographic, who are well known to be on welfare,

Who's males are predominantly like 99.99999%, industrial kiddy fiddlers,

  14. The funny thing as well is immigration destroys the rights of the British people living here. We see this with the NHS, the government feel like they can fired 80K staff for refusing a vaccine because they'll just replace them with immigrants.

  15. When I was a kid they told us to have fewer kids because our population needs to decrease to save the planet. Now they're telling us we need more immigrants because British people stopped having kids.

  16. The problem with handing out temporary visas is that they will be issued to people who will come in but not leave as anticipated. And it is a fact that we do not remove over-stayers or criminals or those who simply arrived illegally (cf the little boats coming over the Channel).

  17. The current and coming problems from mass importing of foreigners, and overcrowding the country, will be blamed on ANYTHING BUT the mass importation of people.
You can already hear it in the housing argument: "well, there is lots of corruption".
