Nice to see Tim and Forrest back on GMT. I prefer this format. Please bring back other special guests like Bangkok Pat, Natty and others. It would be a hoot to have that dude from “Retired and Working for You”; that Canadian’s views on GMT could be informative and entertaining. I was of the understanding that the STICKMAN was LONG GONE. Had enough. Burnt out … I only know of the Stickman because of his BANGKOK112 post … BANGKOK112 is of much more interest to me as B112 was the FIRST PERSON to capture my interest in early 2020 in VLOGGING and the MONEY GENERATING potential of YouTube… It was very SAD to learn that B112 had CEASED posting because his YOUTUBE and PATREON accounts were apparently DEMONITISED because of all his CLOSEUPS in BAR districts. There are some posts saying B112 DIED in an AUTO accident in Bangkok. But I 'THOROUGHLY' checked into that and could find NO VALIDATION of that claim whatsover … No one ever knew who he was except the management of SOI COWBOY Bangkok from which he was apparently BANNED … It would be a very INTERESTING follow up story for you as B112 had MILLIONS of FANS around the WORLD … He was truly a YOUTUBE LEGEND and his many captivating REAL LIFE vids are still there for ALL to SEE.

Regarding Marijuana: I agree with Tim. The government Ganja proposal is worthless if what they propose is a 0.2% cap on potency. This isn't pot, it's hemp! I doubt the medical efficacy of such a low dose and I know from personal experience, 0.2% would do nothing to catch a buzz.

you can't blame immigration for that dude's failure to get an emergency Visa extension. did he call immigration on or before the day his Visa expired? they would be over there quick with some paperwork and a stamp.. immigration follows the law, and if you want to be in Thailand, its a good idea to follow the law too.. However, i'd like to know how much that forced 10-day stay cost? That part isn't a law lol
Hey Tim and Jay, thank you so much for covering the issue of these visa overstay fees, I am one of probably many many thousands of people desperate to get back to the Kingdom, but I see so many scare stories like this on YouTube, At the moment I am scared to come, stuff like this just reinforces the many negative views I see of the way that Thailand still deals with visitors. I am knocking on in years, and can't imagine what it would be like to have to quarantine. I wish it was all over!
I wonder how many tourists visited TH last year and how many are actually tourists. Sadly this year might not bring big changes in number of tourists as most of potential travellers stopped including TH in their plans due to uncertainty of gov.

Question to J As you said Phuket is better than Pattaya last week Is there any real rivalry between areas as in we are better than you. The same as football teams.
Also when you are looking to chat to tourists try going to a major large hotel and ask people going in and out there opinions as they are more likely to be tourists than locals in bkk ;).

If they bring back test and go will be automatically be transferred too or go through all that hassle of the online for 2nd time, it took me 5 attempts for me but my wife's 1st time
We have a home and my wife's family are their so din't want to travel from Phuket

Any idea how many foreigners were incarcerated due to positive test result? Something to consider for anyone who is foolish enough to come to Thailand during pandemic. 4000 baht is tiny compared to what you would end up paying for 10 days at quarantine hotel.
Apparently Tim wants to have a look into the notorious jails of Thailand 😉
Wouldn't be too surprised if the 4000baht went into the immigration officer's pocket they know the tourist left the country and wouldn't be making any complaints.

The 4000 baht is only because Thai immigration bureau does not care what made you late.
They do not work together with or under the Ministry of Public Health.

Hempcrete, hemp rope, hemp clothing, hemp paper, hemp was widely used before cotton industry. As well as many medical uses. It is easy to grow and to harvest, one of the cheapest in both water and time. No I do not use it myself however it is way better for the environment than most of the industries that will close if hemp is legalized.
