  1. Speaking of ignorance of medical professionals… Before I changed my diet and went on my own journey of researching, learning and discovering plant based diet, I was told to eat red meat, heart, liver, etc. to improve low iron levels in addition to iron ampules. 🥴 Enough to say it did NOT work. And I vomitted the hell out of liver that I once ate back then in combo with those ampules.
Years later and years of WFPBD, my blood looks amazing, all perfect values! 😊
Can't believe it, but I feel stupid for listening to this 'doctor' years ago. But I was young and I trusted them. Ugh… 😖

  2. Yeah. Meanwhile sales of animal products and processed foods go UP, UP, UP. Face it folks; we aren't going to change, the planet is going to have to fail under our feet, starve 80% of us into the blackness of a dire posterity, and maybe then we'll change, but I highly doubt it.

  3. Great concepts. There is still however an issue you didn't talk about. The damage to the albeit small animals and eco-system due to agriculture. Even if you do "organic" farming many animals are still killed in the process. What you and many others fail to say is that "For you to live, something must die." While many who are vegan are almost religious in their convictions and very dedicated, they miss this basic problem or choose to avoid it. Great video.

  4. I've been a vegetarian for 5 years and I must say, every video from this channel has inspired me to go plant based🌿🌱 I always look forward to every video. Very informative and educational. Thank you for sharing.

  5. Thank you Dr. Klaper, your sincerity and compassion shows. I became vegan over twenty years ago and my only regret is
that I did not do it sooner. Eat a non-violent diet and you will feel the difference. Peace.

  6. I love hearing his talk here, just fantastic. I bought two of his books back when my 28-year-old was a baby and have referred to them many times over the years as a cherished resource. I am so glad he is still here, offering kind wisdom!

  7. I used to be vegan for my health only. Now I am growing a sensitivity to the welfare of animals too. And even if I wanted to eat them or their products, I simply could not . I dont believe however in converting everyone to veganism; you can educate yourself and others, but not control. Myself I believe I was made to be plant based, like it s part of my make up. And of course I love my fruits and veggies. Fruit especially.

  8. His story about the husband and wife rings so true for me. My husband’s reply to me expressing a desire for our family to be plant based was, “ok, we can eat more like that, but I’m not giving up my steak.” I said, “ok,” and moved on with my health recovery. Recently he’s expressed his concern about worsening health problems that he is having. He wants to go 100% wfpb like me to see if it helps him. Yay! It only took 8 years. Maybe because I’m now officially in remission from cancer? I don’t know, but I’ll take the win. I know I’ll get more years with him. 💕

  9. It is almost impossible to find a plant based doctor. I wish there was some type of directory to help guide WFPB people to a doctor who embraces this lifestyle. Thank you for sharing your history as well as your insights in living this healthy and kind way of life.
