  1. This is amazing and I love how you are discussing sharing the land with people and animals. Talking about how different plants can fit in different contexts is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing this.

  2. Love this videos! Although not a single "instructional topic", these are good for those of us that are planning/continuing to build our food forests. Some of the best "tips" are the little conversations you are having, and lots of good reminders of things I already know, but are put into a different context than when you are showing your own property. Please keep posting these, they are very valuable!

  3. Amazing! (Havent watxhed it yet but Im 1000% confident lol). The only little "complaint" would be that this is typical member content in my mind 🙂 I know you asked us what we'd like! Honestly Im not sure what could be more valuable than recorded consultations! And of course we all understand not everyone will want their consultation recorded 🙂 but where possible it's crazy valuable ✨✨✨ and if you want to give the general community of it, maybe everyone could get the first 10 minutes? Or maybe a compilation of some of the best stuff from the vid…? Or a few parts that give the general public an idea what the consultations are about? So they can then decide to become a member. I mean, it would be worth a few bucks a month just to get one of these per SIX months or something 👍

  4. Not my zone but I can testify to black netting and nylon line deterring deer. They like to brows in low light and running ito what they can't see scares them and they then avoid the area. It has been the best protection for my berries.

  5. I know the sound will get worked out but I did enjoy learning a few new tidbits with what I did hear.
I tried my local extension office for native plants and they can be a real steal but since the they do everything online and now they sell out very very fast and they don't advertise so every time I get to the sale its always by word of mouth or sheer luck. Fun fact: my plants from Edible Acres orders have been 100% successful where my local plants have about 70%.

  6. Restoring some of their property to prairie grasses might be wonderful, Big Blue Stem and many other varieties of tall prairie grasses need homes having lost their homes to industrial ag. One resource is Prairie Moon Nursery for seeds and plants, but a little bit of searching might yield many others. This was a wonderful discussion. Thank you.

  7. Maybe next time. It seemed like it might be interesting, but I couldn't turn it up enough to hear on my phone. BTW what program was he using to map out his property with the info on the individual plants.

  8. Great video! I am watching half for now. It has been incredibly helpful for me. I am dealing with lots of "drift", too. I have been considering bamboo for a really challenging area. Praying for a less toxic world.

  9. NOTE… Please read description to understand what this video is about. Certainly a departure from our normal content (MUCH longer, focused on discussion, etc.). It would be helpful to get constructive criticism and feedback on this since we have 30 more consultations scheduled and some folks may be generous enough to have it recorded and shared for common good… Useful to people? Missing something? Help us deepen this into a nice repository if people think this has value… Thanks!
