  4. If the Mortgage Company is doing business in California it should be mandatory for them to accept the money. The California Legislators need to pass legislation to force the greedy Corporations to take the Relief Grant.

I received a determination notice, after submitting my self-employment verification documents / tax return /, I called EDD the next day and the EDD worker told me it was a mistake and she fixed over the phone, next week I got Approval notification, but when I log in to my account in the payment history the disqualification is still displayed, I do not know why?

Got my letter from EDD saying, "The documents you submitted to substantiate that you were self-employed prior to the start of you Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) claim meet legal requirements and no further action is required at this time". Thank you Ginny for your guidance in dealing with this.

  12. Thank you Ginny, I still check back with you to get the exact information I didn't always realize that I needed. I'm currently still waiting for responses on both p.u.a. verification and housing is key verification. Plus I'm a couple of weeks away from my booster shot.

Just uploaded my lease agreement for my office suite + bank statement + supplier invoice but didn't feel comfortable so called EDD was on hold about 17 minutes around 2:30pm on 12/31 got a Tier 2 right away and she said it was sufficient and I should receive a letter no further action is required..

  16. I received a notice of determination saying that I did not qualify due to insufficient proof that I was self-employed. I was able to submit more proof in the forum of an affidavit and bank statements and received a letter today stating “the documents you submitted to substantiate that you were or plan to be employed or self-employed prior to the start of the pandemic unemployment assistance claim meet legal requirement and no further action is required at this time”

    Dumb question but do I still need to file an appeal?

CA HAF program info I was also sent an email saying my servicer is not participating;, On step 4 of the application, I put Freddie Mac as my Services and WellsFargo as my Bank my mistake when in fact, Wells is both my Bank and servicer. I called Wells and the Haf program team, and both said they are also participating. I called Freddie Mac, and they told me they are only investors. They are not the servicers, and they would accept any funds from any program. If others are receiving the same email, maybe they can include their servicer's name here in the comment section. It could be just a mistake in filling out the application and bots sending automatic emails to us.

  18. I just got a voicemail that the EDD wants me to send them a check for the money they sent me over 2 months ago? What is going on…this is all so messed up…can I hire a lawyer or get some help…I did nothing wrong and tried for over a year to get answers bcuz I was approved then said denied and then had a balance in my edd account I couldn't access and then they sent me money and now want a check for the whole amount is this even legal??? I'm so stressed!
