  3. I agree with the eyelash primer & I’ve used expensive ones that don’t hold a candle to the L’Oréal!
You definitely need a new pharmacy!!
Unreal what you go through each time it’s time to get a refill

  4. It is so unfair that people who wants to live has to die , and those who wants nothing more than die has to stay here. Not a fair world at all.
You look so much beautiful without makeup on Jodi

  5. Jodi, that is wonderful news of Hugo. As for all the stress you have been under, know most of the stress will pass. How do you eat a vegan elephant — one bite at a time. So my love treat that stress as you would eat the elephant, one bit at a time, like your mirror in the music room. It would look awesome above the table opposite the fireplace and the added benefit would be double the beautiful fire burning. It also gets it out of the way and lessens the chance of breakage and 7 years bad luck. You have had enough of that. Hugs my friend

  6. Jodi, I feel so bad for you! I live in South Dakota and when my sister had stage 4 cancer, she was on Morphine and never had one problem getting her pain meds!! Of course that was 9 years ago too!! Times have changed so much and it's so unfair to cancer patients!! I really feel for you!! Prayers and hugs to you!!!!

  7. I have the same problem and I live in Wales U.K. I so agree with you and it often happens over the weekend. Also our chemist is closed from Saturday 1pm till Monday morning. I went to A + E
They weren't very happy about me turning up at the emergency department. However to my body I was in tremendous pain and it felt like an emergency to me. After waiting 4 hours, the doctor prescribed enough tablets to last until Monday morning. I thank him, but his reply to me was don't come back unless you're sent here by G.P. or properly I'll. We are for emergency
Only not waisting our time and money for tablets. Sort it out between your Doctor and Chemist. I wanted to hobble away but he had my meds in his hand, so I had no choice but to listen to what he had to say, I was crying and really upset leaving the Store . Then I had to calm my son down as he wanted to go in and have a word about the way I'd been treated and about the underlying bullying tactics. So I do know how you feel, you are dead right the do look at us asif we're drug addicts. Love and hugs to you all XxxX ❤ 0

  8. I’m on pain meds and haven’t gotten to morphine yet, but the hospital I go to has a pharmacy in the cancer center. So they know the physicians and send messages if needed to their team.

I also use an outside pharmacy and they know the oncology doctors at both hospitals in town so they generally don’t question me, they may call me with clarification. Just having a list of drs helps the Rx team and doesn’t break any HIPPA laws

  9. Hi Jodi, I take a controlled prescription so I can sleep at night. Almost every month I get my refill late. So horrible sleep for a night or two. Because the DEA has put tight restrictions on controlled medications thanks to some doctors over prescribing and overdose deaths. I know that your young but could you qualify for SSI or Medicare due to your illness and not able to work? You might have less issues with pharmacies. Most don't want to carry pain medications due to robberies. Feel good today!

  10. I am so glad about you’re brother in law . Brighter days are ahead . Have you checked the water resovoir in the drier and also the fluff compartment.? You probably know this , but Just in case xx

  11. Perhaps calling your state licensing bureau for pharmacies would get you some action and relief on your particular pharmacy giving you so much grief. I live in Wyoming, so when we call those state oversight agencies, it does get results – not sure if California will be the same, but it’s worth a try. Also, contacting your local state legislators sometimes get problems resolved. Heck, even contacting your US Reps & Senator local offices should get you some assistance. All time consuming I know, but hopefully will help.

  12. Fantastic news on your brother in law Jodi. Do hope that every day he will now get stronger….. Your house is looking great and you are doing well with unpacking…. What a nightmare over your pharmacist. I can't understand how they can argue with a doctors request🤬. Could you look to another pharmacist? Disgusting to give you worry over getting your medication….. Sending you love and take easy Jodi xxx❤️❤️❤️❤️💐💐💐🙏

  13. Hi, I have the same problems with my pharmacy. My doctor has prescribed a drug that the pharmacy does not like. My doctor prescribes it but the pharmacy does not like to fill it. My problems every month. Change to Walgreens they at at least very nice. I had a long talk with my doctor about it but he says there are laws he can’t control. It really sucks! I feel for you!

  14. Time to have a meeting with the store (pharmacy)
manager. Tell him your Dx. What you have been going through with them.. I work for hospice.. Our patients never fight for meds.. Ever.. Hugs

  15. Ive dealt with similar situations. Regardless of your kind of prescription, they should be prepared. I would maybe inform them that you will be continuing to need this prescription. I call a week prior to make certain they’ll have it ordered and ready. I hate hearing that you have to jump through their unkind ways. Is there anyway you can go to another pharmacy? Big hugs. Maybe call and speak to another pharmacist telling them your situation. ❤️

  16. You guys have made great progress around the house! I hope Ray's back isn't causing him too much grief. It makes me so mad about your morphine, Jodi! But I totally get it. It's just the way it is today with prescribed opioids, unfortunately. In an effort to prevent drug misuse/abuse, they penalize those who legitimately need it.Such a needless stress when you already have enough stress! Are you locked into using only Kaiser's pharmacy because if not, I suggest trying a smaller neighborhood pharmacy. Often times they're better. Ok Sweetheart, continue to take good care of yourself and hubby and Bentley! Love you!! 🙋‍♀️💖😘🏡🙏

  17. One day those pharmacy techs or their family is in pain and I hope karma kicks their butt!! I worked for oncologist for 20 years and this stuff has gotten ridiculous..😡 makes me furious!

  18. What Drug Store do you use Jodi? The bigger chain stores are bad about running your business. I would try a small family owned drug store. Cancer patients get a raw deal when it comes to pain meds, I know because my husband passed from cancer.

  19. Can you try getting a local channel to do a story? It might make it worse … but it could at least raise awareness. P.S. I hate when Alexa doesn’t listen.

  20. I absolutely love your makeup videos! I'm always confused when I'm in the makeup aisles so I just get my boring stuff that doesn't enhance anything. As for your pharmacy, do you have to use that one? I pray that they are not all the same.

  21. Hey Jodi, What you need is to go with a mail delivery service for your medications. There still can be some problems but not as many and you don't have to leave your house!! <3 Ask you Doctor about delivering your medications to your home. I wish you all the best!!! I know all to well what you have been going through. Love and Prayers,

  22. Hi ❤ Love!! Jody I was dealing with the same problem until one month my son (he or my mom usually go) went to pick up my meds & they were giving him a hard time. I was in the car because I had just left the Dr, so when he came out to let me know what was happening I had him get my wheelchair out. I went in & asked to speak with the pharmacist. That day I was in a lot of pain 😰 so I was frustrated. I let her know that this was not a choice I made & that if I was her mom would she not want her to be able to get the medication 🤷she needed!! So she asked if I could call a week before it was due so she could make sure she ordered it & it had time to come in. After she found out what I was dealing with her whole attitude 🙂changed, as did the others there. Which of course is sad that we have to explain why 😒 especially when they shouldn't be judging anyone. As a Christian we want to set that Loving Example Like JESUS 🙏 would. So I Pray 🙏this will in some way help you. I'm Sending💌 Lot's of Prayers🙏 & Blessings💞 to You, May GOD Keep You Safe in HIS Loving Arm's 💪🙏🙌

  23. Hello,dear Jodi
