Joe Biden’s Comms Chief Resigns After Kamala Harris’ Comms Director Leaves Administration
Joe Biden’s Communications Chief resigned just one day after Kamala Harris’ Comms Director announced she is leaving the administration.
This is the second White House staffer to leave in one week amid reports of turmoil and cratering poll numbers for both Biden and Harris.
“It was an honor and privilege to serve POTUS and the American people at the White House,” Emma Riley tweeted on Friday. “I’m excited to be moving down Pennsylvania Ave and traveling around the country with [Department of Labor] Secretary Marty Walsh”

It was recently reported Kamala Harris’ Communications Director Ashley Etienne is leaving the administration in December to pursue “other opportunities.”
Ashley Etienne’s departure comes just days after CNN reported on tensions between team Biden and team Harris.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki issued a statement Sunday night via Twitter defending Kamala Harris after a CNN report earlier in the day that described tense, exasperated relations between Team Biden and Team Harris–something that Jack Posobiec has been exclusively reporting for months as the “White House Shade War.”
